Arsenal hadn't won anything for nine years before Ozil joined. They then won three FA Cups in the following four years. Coincidence?

Don’t think you can call either a flop but I do feel both could/could’ve been much better with more effort.
Both play in 2nd gear and with Pogba especially you feel he has another few gears to go to.

No offence but Pogba has ben a flop.
He came here with this fanfare about being a magnificent player etc and while I dont watch united the amount you do I have yet to see him do it on the pitch.
Ozil has been a flop as well in the sense that hes cr@p

Nah Ozil. 2 years longer and even Pogba's weak performances in that time. Have shown at least the will to win the game. For instance I can't say I've ever seen him just blatantly let the opposition run past him unchallenged (he might have, just saying I've never seen it).
Yes I'm biased but as the only PL player I've seen, be as lazy/vanishing as he is, for as long as he has been, whilst being paid as much money as he gets. Well that makes Ozil hands down the biggest PL flop of all time for me. Over 150 million quid for a player who didn't/doesn't even care if he wins a game or not and spent 5 years proving it. More money than that if fact, because that's just the dumb 5 year contract wages + fee.

I actually think he’s a decent enough player but doesn’t suit many systems and is just in a horrific run of form. ridiculous amount paid for him - he’s a £30m player.
Feel a bit sorry for pogba, hes been touted as a top central midfielder and he's just not disciplined enough to be that player. He's always been at his best when he had the excellent midfielders around him, Pirlo etc.
He's obviously a great player but just not the kind of player to command a midfield like Keane or Alonso for example.
Further forward, less responsibility to worry about the space behind him, that's where he'd thrive, he's brilliant naturally in the moment if you get me.

Yeah agreed. Current form aside he's been doing exactly what he's always done. It's a well worn cliché, but the transfer fee isn't his fault.

Agree with this really - he is more a victim of the shiiiiitshow around him. It’s a bit worrying how unversatile he is but he has frequently proven how good he is in the right system. Ozil is more disappointing, played in the right system countless times, even under Wenger who is the king of making lightweight attacking players look great and never really shone.
