Please tell me the last time a child died of starvation in the UK, not including parental neglect?

Tell me the last time a child in the UK suffered from malnutrition due to poverty? i believe is the relevant question.
Funny how the parents of these kids, not all, but certainly a good proportion, never miss out on the latest phones, TV's and alcohol/drugs.
It's always someone else to blame though i find. Never there prioritising.

We could quite easily spend all this and still suffer though.
Plus we already spend loads of money in comparison to other nations on cyber security.

To answer the original question.
Members of the armed forces deserved to be equipped with the right equipment and resources to do there jobs. For too long that's not happened sufficiently. Don't use party political nonsense and distractions to make your point.
Now take a swipe at PPE contracts and cross rail projects etc..... and i'll back your point. Squaddies have been underfunded for far too long.

Firstly, that is complete conjecture that you have no evidence to backup except for what you’ve read from whatever newspaper for dummies.
Secondly, that doesn’t matter anyway. Children should never suffer for their parents misdoings, let’s try break the cycle than perpetuate it.
In the financial year ending 2017, the UK government spent £264 billion on welfare.
2019 £191bn on benefits
£16bn is just over one month of furlough payments earlier in the year
Get some perspective ffs, you silly crybabies
Thirdly, even if these instances do exist (of parents buying themselves Phones etc instead). It’s worth having a blanket policy to feed all starving kids to capture all those hardworking families that are deserving and rely on it (in which there are countless cases of) even if a few exploiting the system do slip in. If we can let all the government buddies exploit and cheat the system then a working class family having a newer smartphone isn’t an issue
Sigh.
I see the old 'they still have mobile phones' argument is out again.
Let me just say one thing.
One of the foodbanks I have given to has guidance for people and one bit of guidance is to avoid things like Pot Noodles because not everyone using the food bank has access to a kettle.
Don't tell me those people in genuine need have big TVs and mobile phones and don't tell me that they should be punished because there might be some people who take the mick. It's disgusting.
