The funny thing is Don and Sandy slagged off Jose more than anyone before he took over at Spurs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yup which is why it’s so weird. To credit Luka he does seem to have always be obsessed with Jose in a Misery or Norman Bates to his mother kind of way

It's not even as if he's won anything yet. When he does then they can truly tell us "I told you so".
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is also a good point.

No one should be saying I told you so until we’re lifting a trophy.

It’s pathetic.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In the match thread against Southampton when we were losing alot of mugs were saying "Where are the Jose lovers now?" At full time the mugs had egg on their face.

LOL

If I am honest as long as we are in the champions league next season that will do for me. Not saying we are gonna win anything but I read comments from mugs like MourOutThou saying City will comfortably beat us before a ball is even kicked I get a sense of "I want Spurs to lose so I can cuss Jose and give it the big one" Feck you mate LOL
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seriously it shouldn't be a matter of proving anyone wrong anyway. If we win something we should all be happy. If I'm proved wrong I couldn't give a crap, I'll just be happy we've won something.

Yea, it's pretty boring to be honest.

We should all be celebrating being proved wrong the anti jose/pro Ndombele are being proved wrong on Jose and the other side on ndombele.

Time for the board to all come together

Until we lose to Chelsea and it's all Jose/Ndombele's fault.

Although the club was definitely right to bin Poch off I was by no means sure that Jose was the correct man to inherit the shambles he left behind. However I was more than happy to give him to the end of this season to sort things out and so far its all good.

I guess some folk who were very against him taking over just haven't got the minerals to admit that they are being proved wrong.

Its weird one though if you can't enjoy being top of the league then why bother following a football team at all? Maybe brass rubbings or pottery would be a more apt way of passing the time.

Mainly, one of the ring-leaders rates a Jewish dig at Levy or some thinly veiled comments at Ndombele, Lennon, Adebayor etc etc.

I don’t mind even if we don’t win anything under Jose assuming we at least there are some tangible success.

Not really , just couldn’t understand the anti Jose sentiment the moment he walked through the door.
And when we struggled with injuries the “I told you José was finished brigade” lapped it up. So the irony now is the Shoe is on the other foot and the haters can’t handle it.
And am sure After a few losses the whole cycle will start again

And btw, the biggest Ndombele fan and even shocked we managed to get him in the first place. Clearly struggled with weight and other issues but technically him and Lo Celso up there as our best players .
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What couldn’t you understand?
Unhappy about Poch going
Unhappy about a manager in which a circus has always ensued
Unhappy with an ex-Chelsea manager
Unhappy with a manager who recently had played very negative football

I think that’s easy enough to understand
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope , dont understand. Loved Poch but we were in free fall under him.

Thats a good view (your second point, cant comment on the first!) - we have no right to win trophies, but if Jose can bring other areas of success, like growing certain players, getting us CL footie again, then that leaves a good platform for a future successor and means a job well-done.

Sir Tim Sherwood laid the foundations for Pochettino’s ‘success’. How dare you slander him by placing him in the same category as Joe Kinnear.

posted on 22/11/20

Sirles, the only worry is this team is built so short-term that we have to be a little more harsh than with other managers

Absolutely hate it, sucks the enjoyment out of football.

After every win we’ll get the same articles from the Jose fanboys gloating.

Really wish we could just get behind the team without making it into the Jose show.

There’s a difference though. At that stage Spurs had started the season poorly on the back of a really poor 1st season under him. Maureen looked finished even before we went to United and nothing he had done up until Son’s equaliser suggested otherwise.

Even the biggest Maureen fanboy wouldn’t have believed you if you told him 7.5 games later that Spurs would be top of the league.

That’s the point I made earlier Jose won’t have been my first choice, no way Jose! But you couldn’t really count kinnear and Sherwood as decorated serial winners

It was More the venom and hatred that came within some circles here that was more shocking And I had to stop coming here for sometime as it appeared there was delight in us loosing so some could prove a point . The first lockdown was such a relief.!!
