No

3rd or 4th is probably more likely with liverpool and man city still the teams to beat imo, but it's certainly realistically possible injuries permitting.

i don't think we're quite as good as the 16/17 side though. think i'm right in saying that side conceded spurs' least goals in the league for 50 odd years AND scored the most goals in the league for 50 odd years !!

think we'll improve again next season though and maybe match that side then. but in terms of the title this season might be as good a chance as any.

I agree, I still think Liverpool are far to good. We will see.

injuries are the big question for spurs. not a chance if son gets a long term one. still a decent team but top four is a more realistic target.

Think Spurs will be there or thereabouts, not sure if you will win it though, still think you're lacking a world class defender really. Your defence is where I feel you will be let down.

Yeh that’s my worry, our defence. He has definitely improved it Jose, but we still have players like Sanchez, Aurier and Dier who can make terrible mistakes. Fair play to Dier, he’s been excellent recently

I think Mourinho's worked absolute miracles with the defence.

I thought Toby might as well be put out to stud at the end of last season and his new contract was just a nice retirement bonus. I thought Dier was a 3rd team player. And look at how those 2 bastrdas played against Man City. Toby has been a man reborn and Dier's been a man born for the first time. If it wasn't for Toby's injury we'd be getting the confidence back watching them that we had in the Toby Jan glory years.

Even Doherty and Reguillon have visibly improved defensively over just a few weeks, and Southampton clearly had no idea they were letting the player go that we've now got in PEH. I can only think again that some of that is likely down to Jose.

I for one will be fascinated to see what he can make out of Tanganga. I think there's a hell of a player in that lad. Hopefully with him and Rodon combined with Jose's mastery, the future's bright.
