Imo liverpool are just too good. If it wasn't for them then I'd say we have a real chance.

I do think (draw dependent) we have a good chance in the cups.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I would probably agree with this. It was ominous how easily they beat Leicester with so many players missing.

Top 4 and any trophy would do me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Palmers..."that would do me"...oh come on
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What do you mean sheriff?

We haven’t won anything in ages. I don’t think you could argue that that would be a bad season.

Aurier was solid against City on Sunday. Can't argue with that.

Can we win it? My heart says yes!! of course we can, lots of “unusual” results so far this season which make it way more interesting than the usual 2 horse race. (Where we’ll finish third )

Will we win it, my head says no, although the squad has improved greatly I just think we are a couple of injuries from slipping away.

Strangely, I think Europa will be our chance for a trophy this season.

And belated congrats Don!!!!πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

Agreed as was Dier who was my MOTM!

Though Rodon fitted in well alongside Dier, shame it’s Chelsea he’ll face next!

The sensible side in me says that there is a title race this year between the both of us and our match next month could be a deciding factor later...

Then I read Sandy’s article...

...and change my mind...you ain’t winning a damn thing this season

By the way, tell that bozo that if he wants peace with Liverpool supporters, he can start by unfiltering us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And the many Spurs supporters he has filtered too, hes a total wum

We won't win it. I have had far too many disappointments with this club. I need to see to believe now as I am honestly tired with us losing when games Really matter.

Anyway, congratulations Don

Not really. It will be a good test for the lad. Similar to when Tanganga started against Liverpool. Ok we lost the game but he played very well. Lets hope we have a better result this time round.

I still think Aurier, Dier, Alderweireld, Sanchez etc have a tendency to perform a catastrophic error no matter how solid Spurs' defensive shape is. Moments like that may cost Spurs I think.

He’s like a man on a mission ain’t he. Almost like he’s thinking, if we don’t win anything this season, I could well be off, but I’m going to literally run through brick walls to make sure that doesn’t happen. He’s definitely hungry for this club to succeed more than any player I think.

True but as Jose has shown with Sanchez, under perform and you are out of the team. Nothing better than that to give them a kick up the ar5e. Really hope Aurier builds on the city game and cuts out the silly mistakes.

Maybe so, but I have seen him make errors before. Catastrophic is a harsh word, but maybe lazy defending in the last 18 months or so up until now.

Don, I think we have a decent chance. I put Liverpool as the favourites, then ourselves and Chelsea next, with City behind us.

A lot of it will depend on luck, and how far we go in other competitions. I think it's a stretch for us to be able to win the title and go far into the Europa for example.

Of course opinions will surely change if after this period of tough games we fall down the table a fair bit.

All defenders make mistakes. Are you telling me none of your Liverpool defenders were blameless when Liverpool conceeded seven at Villa, or three against Leeds? Spurs defenders in the main have been excellent this season.

Toby has been one of our best players this season I’m not sure we can afford to be digging him out. Just get what you can out of him because for the very odd mistake he makes, he I still capable of some brilliant performances.

Can you win it? Of course it's possible.

Personally I don't think you will but that's just my opinion. Also I think city are being written off s bit too soon. It's only 8 games in.

Also congratulations Don.
Your life is over. Married and a kid on the way. Take heed any of you young single lads.

Only joking great news

No, but I'd rather all my defence make 7 errors in one game costing 3 points rather than have 2 defensive errors in 2 games, if you understand what I'm saying that is.

You keep banging on about 7-2 as if that means something other than a defeat.
