i don't think he should have got the job again, we aspired to bigger things with Rodgers and he just lacks that professionalism that comes with it.

he was better his first time around as well imo, maybe being a mad bastirt suited him better.

we were good last season at times

football was a lot better than Rodgers last season and a half, we had some great performances in the EL

went on some good winning runs

it was clear it was starting to turn after Copenhagen at home

If Lennon were to win 10, which lets be honest is pretty unlikely right now, and then left, he would be a hero.

nothing else would matter, he won 10.

i'd forget everything and beg forgiveness.

but still want him gone before he does damage to that legacy.

I think it was pretty lazy from the board. Zero imagination.

That's exactly the point I've been making.

Fickle football fans and all that.

lawwell spoke about not evening reading other applications before appointing lennon.

if he had he would likely have been unable to justify it.

i was talking to my dad about it the other day and he went "ach we stopped their ten, they stop ours"

pure calm about it, which is unlike him

Defeatist, 13 games played 25 to go, you concede too soon. Trump would not give you a job

you mentioned this earlier and i asked you to explain to me what you have seen to suggest that celtic will turn it around and go on a fine run of form while rangers performances dip.

Celtic went from Deila to Rodgers and the impact was monumental, and it was clear to see how much pact having the right manager made

You then went from Rodgers to Lennon...from a guy that nearly won the Premier League with Liverpool, to a bit of an alky who had been sacked by Hibs

The impact.......well, you are seeing it now aren't you

Your board took the 10 for granted because they thought we wouldn't get our act together quickly enough...same thinking was involved when they appointed Deila, cheap option is all that was required

technically could be 4 points clear if you win the next 3 OF games and your 2 games in hand.

Celtic are in a strong position at the moment.

I mean, technically, Carla Gugino could agree to do A2 for me.

too many defeatists here.

sure we have dropped points, played schite, and have no reason to assume we will turn it around.

but its defeatist, we need to KTF obviously.

KTF - what you say when there is no evidence to assume we will improve.

I am sure that the team will gain good form at some point and other teams form will dip. Why? We have players that are internationals and have won loads of medals with us. They have winning mentality but need to get a grip or fac off

If we change manager right now we will not win 10. Stick with Lennon and we have a chance. He has done it before, 2011/2012.

Get a new manager in during summer 2021

Mate

Your team has pretty much been on a steady decline ever since Lennon took over.

Over a year ago, Cluj scored 4 goals at Celtic Park to pap you out the Champions League under Lennon.

Almost a year ago, we outplayed you in the league cup final, yet somehow managed to lose the game..we then won at Celtic Park, and in the next old firm after that, your team didn't even register a shot on target.

Talking about him turning it round in 11/12 is lunacy for me, 2012 was an extremely turbulent season for Rangers, players were taking pay cuts and all sorts, we had to sell our best player in the January window and then went into administration in the February.

We also had McCoist as manager, a man who went on to prove just how poor a manager he was in the subsequent years down the leagues

ffs

KTF we will pure win the remaining old firm games despite being outplayed and outfought in the last one and playing absolute phish this season.

This is KTF nonsense and nothing else.

I think celtics biggest problem is the failure of the new recruits.

Celtic spent big money on key players through the spine of the team - Barkas, Duffy, Turnbull and Ajeti.

Not one of them has had any real positive impact.
I am not sure if that is a quality or form/confidence issue. Either way Lennon has not shown any ability to turn it around so far - and in fact it has gotten worse. Losing 4-1 to Prague once was a shocker. But to do it again was horrific.

2-0 at home against a Ross County team who had been beat 3-1 the week before by ten men of Kille? Unthinkable tbh.

Not only are Rangers playing well but the overall quality of the squad looks equal if not better than celtics for the first time in many many years.

But I will only start getting comfortable with our prospects of winning the league if we go into a REAL double digit lead.

We would need to be 10 -12 points in the clear taking into account any games in hand before I would comfortably say I think Rangers WILL win it.

Right now we are rightly favourites - it would be mad to suggest anything else.

But two bad games could turn it all around.

Hopefully it wont come to that and this season will be one long drawn out painful death for Celtic with more days like Sunday to come, followed by transfer requests in January and a terrible season getting worse by the week.

Where did I leave those tissues........
