Is anyone concerned about the lack of testing the new drug has had?
I've seen no mention of what I thought would be the obvious jokes about medication mix ups. I think we all know what phiser is most famous for. Ahem...
Running into someone back in work after a long lay off,
But they're walking around with an erection
He's had his phiser

Still no argument Uboat. Deary me kid.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is just the start - those who are deemed to receive the vaccine first.
"England's deputy chief medical officer Jonathan Van-Tam urged patience over the rollout of the Pfizer/BioNTech jab, which begins early next week.
But care home residents will have to wait due to logistical challenges.
And it could take until April for all those most at-risk to receive the new vaccine, according to the head of NHS England."
Now - that is just for those who are 'most at risk'. You then have the rest of the population on top of that and you expect everyone to be done by March?
Cuckoo!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you completely ignored all the sources I posted? The most at risk, that's the major people who need it you muppet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone vaccinated by the end of March though...muppet.

"By March, I think everyone who wants a vaccine will have it by then."
I reckon castle will be closer with his prediction.

Will you be taking it in the bottom?
Here, what about this vaccine.
These vaccines won't impact the spread much at all for several months given the ones getting it are the ones that spread it least.
Average Joe in the factory or moron Pete who can't help going into public places won't see a jab til early summer.

I think that’s a fair point-but I also think they’re trying to get the numbers down firstly of those that are possibly more prone to being hospitalised, more prone to then going to ICU and ultimately those that may die. Takes the pressure off the NHS.
I think the Oxford vaccine will then be rolled out more to the masses, depending on approval.
I'm not sure it is a fair point!
All the stuff I read is there's a strong correlation with how old you are and how bad you get it. Also a strong correlation between how bad you get it and how infectious you are. So, the elderly are MORE likely to pass it on in a like for like situation. All in all a complex picture IF (and I'm not convinced) the elderly are behaving themselves better?

With them starting in the care homes, then I don’t think that’ll have much impact on the ‘R’ number is what I mean. I accept an outbreak in there can impact, but in general, I don’t think the initial roll out will change transmission much.
