Can’t even take the pisss out of the banter that will unfold today because it’s fecking Spurs
Just want Artitler to go ASAP
How can you drop your captain for disciplinary reasons and put him on the bench...AHEAD OF MARTINELLI

Trust Arteta to pick out weakest team from a fully fit squad
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ha, was going to say something just like this
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just don't get it. Yeah this team worked against Chelsea but Chelsea came out to play. Spurs will just sit back and hit us on the break. No pace in this team also
Martinelli played against Chelsea. ESR on the left has never worked
Strange that he benched Auba for dicipline instead of leaving him completely out.

I wonder if Arteta will fall in to hands again?
Where is Pepe, playing Smith Rowe on the wing didn't work before and it ain't going to work today. His team selections are just bizarre. Just want him gone the guy hasn't got a clue.
Artitler probably expected spurs to sit deep, soak up our attack, hit us on the counter. Standard Mourinho tactic.
I'm worried about Odegaard, he is a bit sloppy. Am not convinced he deserves to be a regular starter, certainly not in a NLD.
would have liked to see more ambition from arteta tbh.
His team selections just baffle me every week.
Someone like Pepe would at least add a bit of strength and pace
Ball consumption, ball retention, possession based tactic which Arteta is going for have never worked against Mourinho

I agree. Pepe has been in good form lately. Certainly deserves a start.
Can we please stop moaning before the game even started. It is like it is now. Just hope it comes off.
Moan after the game.
I don't get why Arteta had to be so candid about his reasons for leaving Auba out. He should have at least waited until after to say what he wanted. This is just going to increase the scrutiny on him and the club, especially if we lose.
agree serial. arteta is way too political to keep big ego players happy. arteta doesn't have the success that pep has achieved to get away with it.

If you are in the Spurs dressing room and you hear the opposition skipper has been dropped for disciplinary reasons - it just changes everything
I will say it again I expect more from our experienced players who are meant to bridge this team
The youth have saved our season

Agree. Why mention it before the start of the game. Only going to create negativity as Auba is a very popular member amongst the fans and players

Arteta on Aubameyang: "He was going to start the game, we had a disciplinary issue, we've drawn the line, we move on. We keep it internal."
When asked if it was a blow:
"We have other players who are willing."

I really hope this doesn't have a domino effect on the rest of the season.
