No doubt Hazard at his best was better to watch but Salah is ruthless and can guarantee you a goal 9/10. With Hazard you don’t know who is going to turn up and to be the best you can’t pick and choose at the top level.
Moura at his best is better than Salah. He scored a hat-trick in a CL semi final. Salah hasn't done anything that good.

At their best it’s not particularly close. Hazard is much better.

He just scored in the final instead
Hazard has done it in England and Spain so is better than Messi. Salah has only done it in England, and flopped in Italy against proper defences.

Hazard and Salah play different roles on the pitch.
A direct comparison does not make any sense.
Salah is is an attacker that produces goals and also disappears for periods .
Hazard as a midfield wizard, controls the game
brilliantly and produces loads of assists, scoring himself occasionally. Comparing the two players is not at all useful, their roles in any team quite different one from the other.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can still make a judgement between the two, even if they perform different roles in a team. They aren’t so different that you are comparing a centre back and a centre forward.
It is like trying to compare someone like Messi with someone like Ronaldo. Two completely different types of player so comparisons are rarely made, and rightly so.

Hazard has disappeared plenty. He's had a couple of absolutely appalling seasons in fact.

They aren’t always playing in the same areas, though. A lot of Hazard’s best work is in the middle third of the pitch. But as I said, it doesn’t mean you can’t make a judgement. I’m pretty sure most people would agree that David Silva is better than Pedro, despite their differences in their role and areas of the pitch they operate in.

The irony is this argument is like a reversal of the Lampard v Gerrard debate. If we’re only judging it on stats and consistency then Lampard wins hands down. If we’re looking at the overall picture then Lampard wins again, but you get my point.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was actually thinking that, the same arguments Liverpool fans make for Salah apply for Lampard in the Lampard vs Gerrard debate, whereas Hazard's ability to come up magic in big moments and win big games is similar to Gerrard's.
But Liverpool fans, the dirty hypocrites, will have their cake and eat it and choose Salah and Gerrard over Hazard and Lampard;
Yes the middle of the final third, Hazard has never played as high up the pitch as Salah does. And it is like comparing Silva and Pedro as Hazard was operating in the same spaces as Silva, and Pedro operating in the same spaces as Salah.

Salah never has to collect the ball off your defenders to bring the team up the pitch

He does this ALL the time

Remind us again what you used to call Hazard during Mourinho’s second spell at Chelsea?
I'm kinda with Darren on this but will also say the 'at their best'part is nigh on redundant in the bigger picture.

I'm sorry Darren but that is just utter nonsense.
