At their very best I don't think there's a lot to choose between them. Hazard might even edge it.
But the thing with Hazard is you only get to see that level a couple of times a season. Maybe not even that over the last few years.
With Salah you get that level on a pretty regular basis.

The nonsense I hear on this site really amazes me, hazard got the most motms in the 10s I believe. Outrageously consistent player bar one season which he was injured. Guy carried chelsea. Salah is a great goalscorer

Not sure how to check the motm stat but I did find out that the “outrageously consistent” Hazard got player of the month twice in seven years.
Look, I rate Hazard massively. I’ve already said on this thread that I think his best is better than Salah’s best but to suggest he produced that high mark even near regularly is just not what I saw. His best was mesmerising, top 3 in the world type form. He just wasn’t that player game after game.
He was in the games I watched. Potm means nothing. Mourinho hardly won manager of the month. The guy carried us for years, the closest I’ve seen to a player carrying a team to a title single handedly with shouts to van persie the year at Utd and Suarez if Liverpool done it that year
I think what skews this nowadays is peoples obsession with stats. Hazard use to run games without necessarily getting an assist or a goal, much like a Zidane. Or that’s my opinion Atleast
Pretty much what Donny said AGES ago. Salah's a great goal scorer but he doesn't consistently dominate games the way Hazard could. They'd actually be a really interesting wide combo cos Hazard dropped really deep (infuriatingly sometimes) to skin players while Salah's always trying to receive the ball at a higher position.
Whenever Wahl pulls this article out, one of his favorite wums lol, it just makes me think of the Hazard-KDB-Salah combo that's destroying the PL in an alternate reality somewhere
Hazard was the best player in the French league by the time he was 21 and he essentially kept that level up all the way until his Madrid move barring the year Chelsea finished 10th when he was crocked for the whole thing

That trio with Lukaku in front of them would be insane.
