Because for the last couple of years there has only been 2 great teams in the premier league, Liverpool and City, and Liverpool have fallen to pieces this year due to injuries.
So United are currently the second best of a mediocre bunch. Level points with Leicester, and only 4 points against an average West Ham side.
City have already been crowned champions by everyone, and their is 13 games left, and they had a poor start to the season. Shows how poor the rest have been.

Used to be easy to demand a new manager due to the league position. How many mental hoops do you have to jump through to get the same outcome when you're 2nd in the league?

I’m very consistent in why I would like a change in management. And it’s never been because of the position in the table. Hence why I used Potter as an example. If we had their level of performance with our players we’d probably be top. Potter really has made that group of championship players into one of the most comfortable, confident and entertaining teams in the league.
I don’t see why it’s unreasonable to want that from Manchester United with the quality we have in the team.

Jose played some good stuff the season we finished 2nd.
No we didn’t, we were bailed out by De Gea for large periods of the season because we kept on parking the bus terribly after going a goal or two up. The only time we played anything well under him was the first 3 months of his tenure.

We actually played some really good football under Jose for about 6 weeks. Unfortunately it coincided with Zlatan have a terrible spell in front of goal and he kept missing chances. Then Jose reverted to type and went more defensive again.

Yes he did. In the first half of the season and then he reverted to type and the football became dire and got worse the next season.

We played turgid under him just like we’ve done under Ole, and he also finished 2nd with us plus won two trophies too. 3/4 of this board were still crying about the style of play though and now hush hush with Ole in charge of the turgidness.

since you seem desperate for an answer, why don't you go and check united's league position on the day that jose was sacked. then compare and contrast.

Tbf we were top after like four games the season before and he still should have been sacked right there and then.

Yes Elvis, I covered that in my post. The inbreed victim however seemed to think we carried on playing good football into the second season of his tenure though which he seems to be the only one to suggest that.

No, most of us were sick of him. Football was dour defensive and poor, can't imagine many were upset to see him go.
