Last time I checked his first 100 runs were added to the total team score? Someone should tell scorers

Scoring 100 means your place is secured for next 3 tests atleast in any test side, hence runs scored in addition to 100 are solely for team regardless of the fact they would be added to individual scorer.

Nzl have good pace bowlers hence wicket friendly for seamers would have been counter productive.
Not really at least it would be closer in scores.If England bat sensibly its got a draw written all over it.
Where is Jonny Bairstow?, dropped by England and never seen for Yorkshire. Don`t tell me he is being `rested` after playing a handful of games in 6 months.
The Yorkies could have a seriously gun line up if they were all allowed to play, they recently lost to Lancashire with what looked like largely a 2nd XI.
Good session so far, get one more before lunch and we're on top

Textbook England. Spend a day and half bowling on a road then way we come to bat it looks like a minefield.
Sibley is running out of chances now. If he doesn't get a score this series I think he will be dropped for India.

Good time for Hameed to start scoring again, but it still feels too soon. Maybe Crawley to open (far from ideal) with Bracey in at 3 if he does well.
Good partnership this. Imperative to see this day out without losing a wicket.
England need succession planning for Anderson and Broad. Aussie plan out when their greats are on verge of retirement and replace them timely.
