were not going to offer him big money though, one of the contributing reasons we went for mostly english players this year was because the owners wanted the wage bill to be cut quite considerably, and that is going to keep happening this year, im now almost certain maxi and kuyt are going to go, who are both on pretty hefty sums of money, ive no idea what sort of money hes on now, but i can see us only offering him 40-50k a week, which im sure if another club really wanted him, could better
you mad bro tony blair labour best ever leader
sucking us up to the amaricans, leading us into a war nobody wanted and spending more money while tryin to get us into more dept
----------------------------------------------------------
Seriously Wigan? Honestly, that is utter dross.
A) Sucking us up to the Americans: Seriously? If you read Blair's memoirs, it quite clearly states that Blair vehemently disagreed with much of Bush's domestic policy and would have rathered Gore became president in 2000. And the maintenance of an Alliance with the largest world superpower and arguably our biggest traditional allie? Would anyone seriously encroach that? And in any case in the matters you feel we followed Bush on, I think you will find it required Parliamentary approval & was done independtly. I don't know about you, but if combating Global Terrorism was to be achieved I feel it would be quite handy to have America on your side. And, its hardly surprising that the two largest poprietors of Captilism would have similar foreign policy agendas.
B) A War nobody wanted - Of course, there was the largest ever march (over a million people) over the Anti-Iraq War issue, but the whole point of a representative democracy is NOT to hand policy to populist demand, but to make 'decisions in our best interests'. The War, on all known information that we have, was to
Maintain National Security, and one that was in line with Blair's Previous interventionist foreign policy. If the public had such a problem with the way he dealt with Kosovo + Sierra Leone for example, they should not have given him the mandate to govern again in 2001. Quite frankly, what the public wanted doesn't matter.
C) Spending more money to get us into debt - The spending under a international recession continued under Brown in 2008. So this statement is just factually incorrect.
Compared to James Callaghan & Howard Kendall, Blair was a paragon of virtue.
Ramirez would be the best out of those trio, I wonderful player for Bologna
well tbf he dida good job at managing to make the public, the labour pary, the amaricans and the middle east hate him so well done tony...
so puntings a labour supporter by the sounds of it

i like ramirez aswell, and i think he can team up pretty well with suarez, we do need a couple of skillful players in the final third
I'm a Liberal Socialist, yeah, but I didn't vote for Red Ken yesterday.
I can't stand any of the Politcal Parties, and Would rather we had a Presidential style system absent of Parties but that will never happen
Therefore, I don't like to say I will vote for a particularly party but I'm more left of centre
And the Americans hate anyone that isn't Reagan, Wigan
i truly despise ed miliband. if he gets power it will be the worst thing thats happened to this country since green ketchup
whould have liked the elected mayrol system its a shame they lost so badly
Green Ketchup?
Ed will face an internal Party challenge between now and the next election, I'm sure of it
It litteraly defies logic as to why those Mayoral reforms were defeated, I just don't get it
i like him
but i dont think he is assertive enough david (who works at sunderland ) whould have hammered the torys in PQT
Ramirez is no where near as good as Ramires!
I can't decide Chelseas goal of the month
Miereles v Benfica
Drogba v Spurs
Lampard v Spurs
Ramires v Barca
Torres 3rd v QPR
All 5 were good goals, Torres was good for his hattrick but think the others were better so narrowed it down. Can't decide between other 4 though
i wonder if fan voted for SNP
tbh we should change our voting system to this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Additional_Member_System
my family all voted snp and my great uncle is a member of the party
sturridge is a contender for sky goal of the month
nobody was voting for it though so i paid 5p and voted for him cause i felt sorry for him
anyone got good strikers for sale before i do my tactics
I forgot to vote, bunch o scheming x's anyway
Liverpool need a goalscorer and de jong would be fairly cheap as to what they have spent on rubbish the last 18 months and dont think he would demand high wages either
leader of edinborough lib dems has lost his seat that sums up the lib dems night
tbh even though the mid term election results are an indication to the government to improve or change something (not the cuts they have to happen after the mess labour left the economy in) it still doesnt mean the tories will lose in 2015. anything can happen and in the next 3 years could see a sudden swing towards the tories
lstd when we do predos we should do AV
e.g Arsenal vs Tottenham
Id put
Arsenal win 1
Draw 2
Spurs win 3 - i wouldnt put it but im using it as an example
