When will India declare you think?
Reckon they’d want close to 250 at least, all but securing a draw at worst and having at least 2 sessions to knock England over.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would like to think we will bowl them out first but wouldn't rule out them declaring on 9 down as some kind of psychological ploy.
Yeah think we’ll eventually get them.
I'd be surprised if they get to a position where they consider declaring. Be interesting to see whether Shami, Bumrah and Siraj try and take time out of the game or add quick runs. You'd assume the latter.
Oh and get in again Robbo!
Well they’ve come out swinging hard.
Woody just needs to bowl full and straight, I know it must be tempting to give Bumrah some short stuff but lets just get him out.
England losing plot here. Trying to get revenge when winning the test is the best way.
What are we playing at here??
Need these last 2 wickets ASAP. We are not too far away from needing 3 an over for a score over 200 which won't be easy especially as it will go up whilst our top 3 are batting.
Starting to look like a draw unless we get these 2 wickets asap or we completely collapse
Yep playing for a draw now
This bowling is pathetic.

I think with Root, Bairstow, Buttler and Moeen at 4-7, they'll still fancy the chase but we turned down chasing 273 off 70 overs against New Zealand a couple of months ago so we won't want them to get too many more or bat for too many more overs.

No one has considered Sibley and his run rate.
No way are we winning this now.

We did, only just in time really. Probably should have envisaged problems getting in and left a bit longer in hindsight to be fair...

Mate of mine just sent me a screenshot of a WhatsApp group with Sam Curran in it (lots of my mates know a number of the Surrey lads) - Curran saying they were planning to go hard at Bumrah this morning because Bumrah was explicitly trying to hurt Anderson yesterday, hence all the bumpers and no balls

Let it slip horribly. I know that bowling a length in these situations mean you can be hit, but these guys are poor batsmen. You keep dangling outside off stump they will nick off much earlier than what we have seen. Wood should have just been firing in 90mph yorkers with the odd bouncer. Been a crazy 45 mins from England, they have over thought it hugely.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Feels like once we got Pant out that we thought the tail would just collapse. Amazing how often we don't see us bowl like we successfully did to the batsmen.
I'd be surprised if he did but if Kohli fancies the win here, he could declare shortly and have a 4-5 over burst at our top 3 and potentially put huge pressure on our middle order. I think it's likely he'll just want these two to keep going on beyond lunch if they can.
