Fergie should just let Ole worry about picking the team and keep quiet. He is no longer the manager.
I don't think it's a case of anyone trying to get one over on Ole, it's more just a hindsight statement after a game that has come out because of a questionable decision, it happens all the time, every week, just with someone different in the firing line.
There will obviously be a reason he was on the bench, but of course, if you don't play your best player and you don't win, your decisions come in for questioning.

Well if Fergie wants to get brave, Ole should show him who the real manager is now.
You can’t say this about fergie curler , he instigated the Ronnie move , it’s disrespectful 😯
You can justify playing him and leaving him out. His contribution's been negligible recently and Cavani made a big difference in lifting the tempo when he came on against Villareal, but... if you're struggling and you want a goal who do you want on the pitch?
It was a big call that he was always going to get roasted for if we didn't win, but if Ronaldo squeezes that chance in when Sancho played him in the manager looks like a genius. We're all brilliant hindsight analysts.

Good thing he’s retired and therefore no longer a professional, then, isn’t it?
Another take is that Khabib, whilst undoubtedly a great fighter, has been so annoying since his retirement. I haven’t seen this footage of Fergie speaking, but is he aware he’s being filmed? Khabib was filming Dana White whilst sat ringside with him - unbeknownst to Dana - and then posted it on social media, for his millions of followers to see. That sort of behaviour, to me, is fitting of a 10 year old girl and nothing else.

Ole has already acknowledge countless times that being United manager means pressure. What he doesn't need is a betrayal like this from Fergie to make more people question him.
The anti-United media want him sacked. Simple as that. They'll stop at nothing to write more headlines until it happens. They are unethical.
I also don't believe Alex Ferguson has ever said anything by accident. I suspect there's an element of trying to get everyone to up their game (Ronaldo included).
Again, was Fergie aware he’s being filmed in this footage? You can hardly blame a guy for airing a personal opinion amongst associates. Further, if he was indeed unaware - an assumption on my part - then it further alleviates the “unprofessional” argument.
If Fergie came out in a scheduled interview and said this then, yes, I’d probably agree he’s looking to stir the pot as he isn’t numb to the machinations of the media.
As someone else alluded to, though, is it not appropriate that Ole is under pressure? Forget about our rivals’ results for a second and the spread of points in the league; our performances and results have been lacklustre since the first couple of weeks and, as manager of Manchester United, surely that warrants scrutiny and pressure?
"What he doesn't need is a betrayal like this from Fergie to make more people question him."
He absolutely does need this, Culer, the club's at a low ebb right now.

Choosing when Ronaldo should and shouldn't play is always going to be a tough one, but doing so successfully is the sort of thing that separates the best managers, like SAF, from managers that don't win anything.
He has a valid point and is as entitled to his opinion as you are - provably more so actually.

Right but Fergie doesn't need to come out like some armchair fan and run his mouth does he.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If anyone's entitled to an opinion on Manchester United it's Alex Ferguson.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not if it puts pressure on the manager he isn't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He needs pressure on him. Managing United isn't all jelly and ice-cream, Culer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ole has already acknowledge countless times that being United manager means pressure. What he doesn't need is a betrayal like this from Fergie to make more people question him.
The anti-United media want him sacked. Simple as that. They'll stop at nothing to write more headlines until it happens. They are unethical.

It's not "betrayal", it's media. Welcome to managing a big club, that's what happens.

I also don't believe Alex Ferguson has ever said anything by accident. I suspect there's an element of trying to get everyone to up their game (Ronaldo included).

Fergie has no say or control over who or what should be done with Ole's team. He needs to be put back into place.

Ronaldo doesn’t even let Ole have the jelly and ice-cream now.

Choosing when Ronaldo should and shouldn't play is always going to be a tough one, but doing so successfully is the sort of thing that separates the best managers, like SAF, from managers that don't win anything.
He has a valid point and is as entitled to his opinion as you are - provably more so actually.
