Aided by rain too. Otherwise we'd have lost this one too by 100+ runs. Probably more because they wouldn't have declared so early in the 2nd innings.

I may come across as harsh. But i dont want things sugar coated. There needs to be major changes in personnel in the playing side and in the coaching set up.

In fairness to England you’ve (mildly) gotten better as the tour has gone on which suggests that with a proper ‘pre season’ (for lack of a better term) warm up before the first test here you might have done better. The general consensus amongst my fellow Aussies here is that Englands bowling attack is very good and you have some talented batters who are bang out of form.

It’s the English way to be introspective and navel gaze when things go wrong but I don’t think you’re as bad as some of your are making out. It’s always tough for you guys in Australia. Sometimes it’s as simple as that.

No point wearing him out, series already lost, we need to extend his career as long as possible and he's already bowled a hell of a lot of overs in the last month.

Says it all. Wood is letting all the pressure off.. Woakes in more accurate.. Yet the greatest captain in English history goes for Wood first.. hahaha hes one of the lads. up and at em boys.
