Whilst I’m still more of a Poch, ETH or Potter type fan, you have to factor in Paratici here. If he is here for the long haul, it makes more sense to bring someone in who he’s worked with before and has a natural alliance with. It might not be the project I was hoping for but it does make sense in terms of hierarchical harmony, at least for a couple of years.

Acocoridng to Twitter the thing that has swung it for Conte this time is that he has been promised Mo Salah in January, the Tunisian one.

I wouldn’t blame him if this was just a tease, a final feck you to Levy for the mess in the summer. The thing is, if this doesn’t go through now, it’ll be one of the biggest PR disasters the club has ever seen. It’s like the ugly bloke trying one last crack at the stunner.
