Alot of them were shooting in the dark in the summer. Fab was the only one who was on point.

They didn`t back Mourinho properly, so what makes people think they will back Conte properly.

With the way Levy operates, Conte will last 5 minutes, he will eventually get pist off and either walk or make it impossible not to sack him.

It would be an exciting appointment, but Conte and Levy would be a marriage made in hell, I can`t see that ever working long term (should it happen, which it won`t).

I think in all honesty it's the best outcome. ENIC will have to provide the funds to make him happy otherwise he'll just leave and they risk another embarrassment. He won't have joined unless very clear promises were made about funds, and I mean written in a contract, not some Kane style meaningless handshake. If there's any manager in world football that will demand the funds it's Conte. You could argue Jose is the same but he made the mistake of saying "I don't need more players" but he soon regretted it.

Then there's the fact that this is Paratici's man. They've worked together before which should then mean we're all pulling the same direction. As much as I wanted Poch, ETH or Potter, realistically all three of them would have an issue with the kind of player Paratici would be buying which would start the rot. At least this way they'll be on the same page.

It will all end in tears but how much worse can it be than it has been since Poch left. We might as well give it a go. It's like dating the girl you know 100% is gonna be a nightmare and will in all likelihood cheat but she's the girl you just can't turn down.

Actually Lo Celso & NDombele are quality... I’m sure Conte will get more out of them...the rest are rubbish... agreed!

I can see a RB, CB, CM and a CF arriving in Jan. Wouldn't be shocked to see them try get Matar Sarr back early. I think Dele & NDombele will go, of the 3 I can see Conte liking GLC the best of them

I think he got a few more minutes towards the end of the season. Same for Skriniar. Was bombed out and became one of the most important players.

My only worry is if Conte decides to push for players 30+ like he did at Inter. They'll have no sell on value so it won't make an awful lot of business sense. Saying that, we have to provide him with the tools to do his thing. If he has to compromise it just won't work. Levy has to relent and he never has before. Not for anyone.

Became a mainstay of the team by the end - but yeah I doubt he will come back.

Before now I thought it was written in the stars that we'd face Roma in the Conference League final and Jose would do his thing and get one over us. Conte is one of very few managers to beat Jose in finals.
