I would have said the same if Hamilton lost out like Verstappen should have. You just said it is motor racing but you can’t let one driver race and most of the field not race, including the driver in 3rd lol. Toto should have fired back and said this is corruption.
Masi would have got away with it if he allowed Sainz and others through earlier but as he didn’t Hamilton should be the champion.
Well Sainz was behind Verstappen. Verstappen was behind the backmarkers Hamilton overtook on track so what Masi did was illegal.
Sainz was heavily defending from behind last lap and Hamilton if Verstappen had same treatment as Sainz would have finished at least 2 seconds behind Hamilton.

Well they originally said they were not moving cars out the way and then Horner comes in and then they magically removed the cars in front of Max.
That looks like a clear-cut Masi cheat.

Masi was so desperate for Verstappen to win he forgot about the rules and most of the drivers on the track. His job is to apply the rules and not become god.

Well he broke the protocol by not allowing cars to overtake safety car. I reckon as they didn’t allow the same treatment mainly for Sainz the result will be Hamilton the champion. Also usually they race the following lap but this time they raced 1 lap earlier than the rules suggest so Masi contradicted his own rules he made clear a year ago lol.
So Max is allowed to dive bomb others out the way from miles behind and force a crash if Hamilton can’t turn. Then Hamilton should have no penalty for Silverstone then and everyone knows Max got away wrongly in Brazil.
Tsunoda got a penalty for hitting the apex in Brazil as he did a dive bomb. Max did the same last race but as Hamilton backed out there was no crash.

Lewis didn't really get lucky in 2008, if Glock had pitted Hamilton could have let Vettel pass him and not bother about overtaking him. Only reason Massa had a chance was due to Glock not pitting.
