Could have been 4/5 a half time, not a problem btw

I am accepting we were soundly beaten last night...but I'm not buying this argument that you took your foot of the gas second half....you simply can't play at that level for 90mins, it was never going to happen

“ I’m genuinely struggling to see any positives for that Rangers performance last night.”

One game closer to the end of the Dutch Pedro’s reign. That’s the only positive.

I enjoy your managerial cynicism. Keep up the good work.

Erm. That’s it exactly.

No team can keep that up for 90 minutes. Ergo, we took our foot off the gas. We didn’t have have to do anything. We’d won the game. We’d won it at a canter. It was up to Rangers to do something and in every aspect they were just utter sheite.

Why would we even want to keep chasing a game we’d already won with our depleted squad and a tough game away at Motherwell and then Motherwell in the next week.

We will see if your team have the same attitude and intensity at Fir Park this weekend

We couldn't have played much worse last night
You probably could've have played any better

There's always positives to be taken away...from any game

This is the first game we have lost under GVB, was a bad loss, but the only one all the same

Might just prove to be a kick up the @rse that we need

Still got Ramsey to come in, have had a makeshift defence for the past 2 months or so, Morelos to come back, Davis has hardly featured at all of late....was far from our best team out there

1st old firm defeat in 8....cannie win them all

What you call cynicism, I call honesty.

I wanted him in, I was wrong. The guys a dud and has the look of someone who doesn’t know how to arrest this slump.

Celtic are a very attacking team....having good players that can play passes into the gaps you leave due to the high press you play is the key to beating you.

Confident that with players like Davis or Ramsey in the side, we will be able to do that...but last night we just crumbled and were soundly beaten

Celtic were blowing out their ar$e just before they got their 2nd. we had a spell of about 7/8 mins where you could see their press had dropped right off and the pace in their game and tapered right off. We open them up with arfield going through then they go up and score, that gave the team (and crowd)a whole new energy level. Not that it mattered much cos we should have been about 3/4 behind before they got that 2nd.

2nd half again they had lost their pace and press and we still couldnt do anything. If we couldnt score when they were off the pace then only ourselves to blame.

Tactically we were so far off it the gameplan was a joke. Its not even that hard to prepare for. for first 20 mins u must track every runner, EVERY runner, every time that early in the match there is zero excuse for not doing so. You flood the midfield and make sure you give nothing away . you set out a marker of commitment, then once the initial buzz of the game wears off start to feel your way into it.

Its always been the same in OF's and Gio should know that

Not sure Celtic will tire. They have Kyogo, Meade, Forrest, Rogic, Bitton all to come back in and I’m sure they’ll rotate.

Issue was a simple lack of shape. Defensively going forward. Celtic’s rotations had up pressing empty spaces while they got in behind.

Having a keeper that would command his area and not just stay on his line, two actual centre backs and Jack in midfield would have kept score down, but we’d have still lost. Personnel were poor, but at least under Gerrard we had clear shape and structure to our play.
