"You think Ramsey is the difference maker and so good he was watching? I mean come on get real. That smacks of absolute arrogance that one player who has played 5 games in a year would have won that for you."
Think you're forgetting the game changer that was Joey Barton a few years ago and how he was gonna dominate our midfield. Single handedly won Rangers the title that season, mind?
Well, almost single handedly.. big Senderos played a crucial role as we were told he would pre-season by the Gers support.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Remember when BBC had a live Barton watch for his first game for the Gers, wonder will they do the same for Ramsey in 2 months time?
I wonder if folk can see ‘Angeball’ now…
"They were. They were kicking the ball to the other ball boy when mcgregor was going to get it. Did it all of the second half. Mcgregor was not pleased."
Incredibly petty but hilarious when you're not on the end of it. I saw the clip of them celebrating right up against the net after one of our goals, giving McGregor pelters.
Two tricky games on Sunday, Motherwell will be in our faces, as will Hears in Rangers faves, that Simms for Hearts looks useful, might be a good first goal scorer bet that.

I just could not believe how bereft of ideas GvB looked, I mean they must teach you something when you get your coaching badges, zero plan, zero tactics and zero personality that lad. I fancy Hearts on Sunday to get something Neilson is a better coach.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Were Ajax playing poorly the season that he won the Dutch title?
Either that or GvB had one of those rare flukey seasons where everything goes right for you?

Bear in mind GG was top scorer in that league with 26 in 30
According to AS, via Turkish outlet Cumhuriyet, the Gers have refused to cash in on the Colombian international after a bid of £5.8m (€7m) from Fenerbahce as their transfer window continues to run for another week

The wee Dutch man had his tactics all wrong last night. Rangers sat so deep and didn’t know what to do with our movement off the ball-in both halves. If it had been 5-0 at half time, there couldn’t have been an argument that it was merited. Celtic just contained rangers in the second half, and let them play where they wanted them to play.
Our press was spot on for practically the full game-there was no outball for Goldson or Tavernier-the main 2 that get things going from the back. For the full game, most of rangers possession was amongst the back 4 looking for someone to pass forward to. Big GG put in a brilliant shift, and even when some of our players were tiring, it made little difference to rangers from creating chances.
Our back 4 were immense to a man. JJ was a real contender for MOTM-yet the ball still was shuffled out to Kent in the hope he’d do something. His best chances were when Forrest dropped to pick him up.
When the biggest positive you can take from the game is that you hope you can’t be as bad as that again, it’s not much of a positive.
That might be his first loss, but that’s 3 games out the last 4 that points have been dropped. There’s selection headaches for him coming up as well, although there’s some players that will now automatically get a place in the team.
League isn’t over yet-not by a long shot. We got a big 3 points last night, and a hope that there’s been a massive dent to confidence.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As much as Celtic played well last night Rangers just didn't turn up and completely sh@t it from kick off, especially in defence. This isn't new though.
Our back four have been hopeless for the past few games, but I'll also put a good portion of the blame on Kamara.
Steven Davis would've created space for a pass from defence but Kamara has been guilty of standing and waiting for the ball to come to him.
Rangers look very much like a team that's struggling to put a fit and able full team on the park. Hopefully the injuries are easing and that will make a huge difference.
Gio certainly has a lot to think about as far as tactics and starting eleven and I think there will be a bit of a shake up now that Balogun and Helander plus Jack and dare I say it Ramsey are just about ready.
If we don't come out the traps against Hearts then Hibs we're f@cked. We'll be f@cked against Dortmund anyway.
“Were Ajax playing poorly the season that he won the Dutch title?”
They lost out by a point that year, although I think they had a slowish start. Feyenoord were top from match day 1 throughout.
I think it must just have been one of those seasons where everything went right, like with us last season as he’s not shown anything of the sort with us.

We’re not going to go on a run of form from this point that’ll overturn a deficit.

Really hope some of them lump in for Boli, Barkas or Soro
Gloating aside, there's still a lot of football to be played this season. Least of all the other OF at Ibrox.. if we can take points from that game then it'll be a huge statement (assuming we haven't blown out slender title lead by then).
Positive signs from the way things are currently though. We've got a deeper and stronger looking squad who are still improving, players to come back from injury, players finding form, a solid looking defence (for 95% of games), a buzz in the stands again after last year's right off, and we're getting results from games that we've either been poor in our have been under the cosh in spells.
Coupled with the disaster that seems to be looming for Rangers with a manager that looks lost already, a team struggling for any form, players that look like they want away, disgruntled fans, and dropping points late in games.
Sunday looks like it's gonna be massive for this season.
Hate to say it, but Jack put in a great performance in the half that Rangers had some of the ball.

Don’t disagree with too much of that what you’ve said rats-midfield is where the big decisions have to be made. Your back 4 are more likely now to be Tavernier, Goldson, Bassey and Balogun until Helander is fit. Your front 3 will be Kent, Morelos and Diallo. Midfield is where the decisions come. Aribo will play, as will Ramsay. Jack looks likely to play now-can he stay fit? Davis or Kamara would be the other options. Kamara has regressed from what I can see, and Davis is coming back from injury. At his age, that’s not that easy.
I have always said that i dont rate Kamara and now looks like he will be a bench warmer

GVB may win the league in 3 years time
see at the end of the day, theres 1 point in it and its 3rd February.
so much football to be played, christ we're off to fir park on sunday, thats a risk in itself.
Btw-the other issue apart from the players are the manager’s tactics. He’s getting players to play in a way that doesn’t seem to suit them.

Agree with that. Big games ahead of us.
i'll say one thing about gerrard, he made it difficult for us to beat them, had them organised against us and in europe, it was just the rest he had a problem with (last season aside obviously).
