Trincao is part of the first team squad and we can spend all day assessing every players performances throughout this season. Trincao is here on loan and has tried to fit in with Bruno's tactics. He's not going to get everything right and neither is anyone else. But here is a comment from one of his critics:-

I'm not actually one of his critics. I've always said I've rated him, just think he's struggled to settle.

I've been his biggest critic throughout the season and was delighted to see his performance against Leeds. Can he now kick on with more of the same? I sincerely hope so.

If Fabio doesn't manage to score in 180 minutes against Villa and Newcastle one would have to seriously question his worth as a backup to Raul.

Our squad options are so poor ffs

I'm hoping that Bruno will start to nurture the CB pairing of Boly and Kilman before he is forced to play them next season due to the departure of Saiss. Apart from that Saiss had an absolute stinker against Leeds and does not deserve to keep Boly on the bench.

Yeah we should probably enjoy these next eight games as without spending well in the summer we will be going backwards.

With Saiss and Marcal gone in the summer, if Bruno seriously intends to go to a back 4, Semedo, Boly, Kilman, Jonny looks promising to me.
