It says that they either advise how the case can be strengthened or identify where a suspect should not be charged. As Greenwood is still on bail/under investigation, the CPS obviously feel that there could well be a case to answer. Not a good sign for Mason.

I'm not saying that they are definitely looking at bringing additional charges. Chances are they are still carrying out investigations for the 4 possible charges and gathering evidence. But there is a chance that they are looking at more charges. If they are looking to prove controlling and coercive behaviour then that is a complicated process. Either way, it doesn't appear that the CPS has told the police to drop the case at the early advice stage, as we are now 2 months down the line. So they must belive that there is a reasonable chance of getting the evidence together to bring charges. Which isn't great news for Mason. Ultimately the CPS may still decide not to pursue a case. But the fact that he hasn't been charged yet is neither here nor there really. Could mean anything.
Oh, and they won't charge him until they have investigated each alleged crime fully. He will then be charged with whichever ones they believe can be proven.
Went out for a curry tonight with my brother Don and asked him about Masons situation. He said that any charges brought would be brought at the same time and not individually as and when the evidence is attained. Otherwise you'd have seperate court dates for each offence, which would mean seperate judges and juries, not to mention witnesses/victims having to attend multiple trials. There is zero sense in it.
