If there’s one thing Manchester United know it is pr and branding, they and their lawyers will know all the avenues that protect the reputation of the club. Mason Greenwood isn’t stupid enough to try and take the club to court in the event that he is sold for the negative press he has brought the club. They’d counter sue and bankrupt the kid ffs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeh I think Mason's best outcome here is that he gets sold abroad.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which clubs, not concerned with PR, would be interested, that hed go to?
It is not a sacking which is basically a termination due to being found guilty of misconduct

And contract law will protect him against unfair dismissal - that is without proof of misconduct

It's been widely reported that Nike cancelled his contract without any compensation due to damage to their reputation and potential commercial loss. If that's the case then the club could possibly take the same route. As I've said a few times, I'm not sure about that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hang on a minute, I'll give him and the clubs a call and get back to you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you dont know if thats Masons best outcome. Gotcha.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course I don't know for sure. Which is why I started my sentence with the words 'I think'. Drawings availave as always.

Its just that you sometimes state opinion as fact so i find it best to check

We all do that. You've done it on here yourself.

The police have to charge when they have grounds to. This suggests enquiries are ongoing but they dont yet have grounds, which is good news for Mason.
