They'll fall apart when we score and the crowd turn
One in midfield isn't working
Tactics are a bit baffling here. Its like we've gone back in time one year.
We're going to take this in injury time on the back of 15% possession
Turns out Cundle isn't ready, who knew
Kilman making a stack of mistakes as well
At the risk of being knee jerk
Our squad isn't good enough for top 6
Awful.
Cundle, Hwang, Trincao anonymous. Marcal a shadow of last week, no ambition in our play whatsoever.
Quite baffling.
Not pretty. Don’t look likely to have a shot let alone a goal. Got through without Neves and Raul last week but they are missed tonight, as is Podence.
Cundle playing far too safe, sideways and backwards all the time. Hwang and Trincao are passengers. Moutinho and Fabio doing their best but they need some help. Must get Neto on soon surely
Feel for the poor sods that have travelled up there for this
That was a terrible half. We're lucky that we are organised at the back otherwise we'd been several goals down.
Everything is just so safe. Our midfield aren't getting forward enough to support any possession outside our final third. The wingbacks have been poor and not provided an outlet, Newcastle have pressed them and they haven't got on the ball. Trincao struggles to find space, but when he does Boly hasn't played a forward pass into him.
Kilman has played the ball into Hwang, but Hwang never plays on the half turn and usually passes backwards, then goes static. Virtually every forward ball has been a long straight one which Dan Burn will gobble up all day.
Something needs to change second half. I'd go Neto for Hwang at half time.

Fabio is back to his headless chicken mode.
Kilman awful , are Hwang and Trincao even on the pitch.
Harsh to blame Fabio when he has only had long aimless straight balls to work with against a 6'7" centre half.

Hope they're all staying up there on the lash. That journey home could be pretty grim unless things improve.
Really disappointed with Hwang. Scored some goals early in the season and Wolves rushed into agreeing to buy him. He's done absolutely fack all since.
I can see some promise in Trincao, but I’m struggling to see any in Hwang. Just can’t see that being a good signing

Yeah, he is just crap to put it bluntly
Bloody hell Marcal tried to take St Maximin out but was too slow even to do that
I actually think Hwang is good in the final third playing off a striker. He provides little in general play though and doesn't really have a place in this formation.
Hwang showed some real potential earlier in the season but since his injury he's done very little. Possibly needs a good pre season to get his sharpness back.
How much better is this? Far more attacking intent
