I feel like this is United's last chance of some sort of revival.

Manchester United board are pushing on Erik ten Hag as new manager, as per
@MarkOgden_ - agreement not completed yet but talks are ongoing on staff, budget & more 🔴 #MUFC

bit concerning that Joel Glazer is one of the two people who are making the final decision over others at the club. As is that the other person is accountant Richard Arnold. And that nobody who knows about football gets a casting vote.

Should have got Tuchel if he is even remotely available. Well Ten Häag is still better than that lose Pochettino

Even tho his Ajax side held a 2-0 lead over Spurs in a Champions League semi final but then went out to a team managed by Poch ?

McClaren was a good No.2 under Fergie and we all know he speaks fluent Dutch, will get lots of use of his umbrella in Manchester as well, things are looking up.

..........

I am sure it would have been in consultation with other people at the club. I doubt those two would have come to this decision by themselves.

Hope this happens

Positive sign but he needs full backing from the board, time to settle and build, to be able to remove a large chunk of this current squad and for fans to be patient.

He might not succeed (he still isn’t as good or proven as Pep or Klopp) but if none of these are allowed then he’ll have no chance.

Never know if there’s truth to the lower level detail, but surely Ten Hag can pick his own staff?

He won’t get it off this board

Why wouldn’t he?

All coming together nicely. What can go wrong?!

He's a terrific coach, we'll need to treat him the way Liverpool and City treat Klopp and Guardiola to give him a chance of making a similar impact.

It'll definitely take time.

Bit late to be discovering you have concerns about Joel Glazer

Apparently the first thing he wants to address is player conditioning. Not really surprising. Equally unsurprising were the leaks that the players aren't universally behind this appointment. Lazy cants 🤣

He will certainly kick a few aaarses, which is just what is needed for Man U, a few hand bags will be thrown around the dressing room very soon !
