I actually think he's a top batter but putting him back in at 3 made no sense. Should be him and Brook battling for the 5 spot with Bairstow vs Foakes for the 7 spot.

Pretty sure he won the Ashes a couple of times as captain. Not sure we can blame him for Englands issues.

And we have not had an opener of his class since he retired, sadly.
