I have just looked and my favourite baked beans are Branston and not as I thought Cross&Blackwell. Sorry for my mistake.
Aren't they the same thing VC? Crosse and Blackwell Branston baked beans?
Oh for goodness sake can someone please resolve this!
Probably not.
Heinz or Branston ?
Sounds like another 52:48 question to me.

I think you are right Vidal. Branston beans are quite a lot cheaper than Heinz as well as tasting better. I'm surprised they haven't been branded Virgin baked beans, Beardie is missing a trick there.
I read this morning in my favourite newspaper that is unacceptable these days. The world's gone mad...Kevin Hector.......
Unusually for that newspaper, there is lazy stereotyping of "Generation Z", as if they all have identical opinions. Somehow I think it is comforting to be able to dismiss everything as "woke" because it saves the effort of actually thinking about stuff.
Yes, but there is, as in so many things, a balance to be struck. The opposite risk is of course Too Much Thinking. Which can lead to all sorts of unintended consequences.
I don't think that such a phenomenon has yet been recorded in readers of the Daily Mail though Heb.

In 1960, Nestlé bought the Crosse & Blackwell Group The company divested the Crosse & Blackwell operations in 2002. Today ownership of the Crosse & Blackwell brand is divided between The J.M. Smucker Company in North America, Princes Group in Europe and Tiger Brands in South Africa.
So it's just Branston Beans.
And this is for Gen Z .... you
Chester out for 2 months, Curtis needs surgery on his knee.
This is bad news. Forsyth was very good on Tuesday and we still have Stearman and potentially Rooney who can play there so we will have to make do. Roberts has played centre half in the past but he isn't the tallest.
Strikes me that all this extra training is bu66ering up our delicate lads.
It seems like many fans are getting fed up with Warne. They don't like his brand of football and his intransigence. They also are saying the academy will suffer as they are trained to play football, not hoofball. I wonder what you experts think?

At this rate Bielik will HAVE to come back!
I like him, and I cannot believe that some folk would like bottom of the league Cocu back saying he needed more time.
I reckon the hard work will pay off and that it won't be long before the results come.
None of these are his players and we have been infested with injuries whilst he's been here.
Good luck to him and the Rams.
Fans took to Cocu for a number of reasons UT, for example he brings a different football philosophy, tutored under Van Gaal , Franck Rijkaard , D!ck Advoocat,Bobby Robson (briefly) so you anticipate that rich knowledge to be filtered into his game management.
Plus his contacts, the potential of young Dutch players coming over, 'Total Football' , etc....
In comparison although PW doesn't have that glamorous experience he's worked successfully in this division with a worksmen like team(Rotherham) and achieved great success. As mentioned in one of my posts yesterday, personally I know/feel I'm being impatient with PW as he knows the division, the players and opposition. He can'tplay his formation just yet so needs to adapt, use the players at his disposal accordingly (N M-L, Barks etc...)

We did not expect total football but we got got total crap.
He was a pleasant enough chap but he hadn't got a clue.
I reckon it was because he was so nice that they were sad at him going, but I was delighted he went.
I also prefer the way we play now to that of Liam, but that's me, everyone has a different perspective of the different styles but I like Phil Warnes up tempo.
Most moaned about the Ipswich result, but if Davies had not made one mistake we would have got a draw which would have pleased most folk, instead they almost want a lynching.
Unfortunately Cocu was not respected by MM and that hinder his management. His lack of experience and approach is similar to PW's in the sense he wants to play a particular style but doesn't have the personnel to do it.
PW will come good, we can b*tch and moan about the games (on social media to our friends & acquaintances) but need to support him and the club at matches. No manager should be treated to a hostile reception after several weeks in the hot seat.
We are a bit foobared at present so this season could turn out to be one of consolidation given the injuries are wracking up.
Morris has not shown respect to anyone, his entire life, the cretin.
