have you not already spent like 170 odd million this season?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Net spend of £130m
We may not have much to spend at the moment but we do have plenty of players out on loan who could bring anything north of £50m combined in Ndombele, GLC, Winks, Rodon and Reg. Will have to wait for the summer though.
Include deadwood like Sanchez, Lucas, Emerson(hope and pray) and maybe one or two others.
Then there is that £150m which ENIC supposedly injected. If we can jammy CL again add that wonga too.
Good old Matt Law of the Telegraph is saying :
Tottenham offer Antonio Conte £1m-a-year pay rise to sign new deal
The Italian, who is already one of the best-paid managers in the world, is unlikely to rush into signing until he is sure he will be backed
They also add Spurs are thought to be ready to make two new signings in January.
A defender and creative player are expected to be high on the club's wishlist.

States we can splash £400m and still be under FFP. That was before the ENIC cash injection too. This was from Nov last year.
Once our accounts are published we will know more but this calender year has been good with crowds back. Add the event revenues from staging boxing, rugby, Lady Gaga, Guns n Roses and NFL. Oh and CL football revenue too we might still be at £400m limit..

Is this Darth Levy’s plan? Pay Conte so much that regardless how pessed off he gets with lack of support in the market, he can’t bring himself to leave?
Cheaper to pay Conte £20m per season than spend £100m every summer on new players.
I agree with Levy on this,. You don;t wanna be giving money to Conte he could be off at the end of the season or before. Levy should have given the money to Poch.

shut you and go for the celtic annual wash..... the stadium is already prepared for the hordes!
The problem we have is our recruitment is pretty poor and has been for years. We always seem to buy mostly the wrong players.
I am still concerned we do not seem to give our youngsters a chance even if it's just one of them in the odd game. We simply cannot just keep hiring new managers and spending money everytime we do.

when will you learn ???? It's not about the product on the field for Levy, It's all about the bottom line.
Expect to be disappointed by Levy's Spurs.... It's how the club is structured !!! It's all very deliberate
As others have said, Levy wil not back Conte one jot if he suspects he will leave or not sign a new deal and Conte will not sign a new deal until he know he wil get full backing......
but having said that it's all pie in the sky becuase when did contract ever mean anything. It's not as if theres proper loyality in the game anymore. Even with Kane if he could have got out hs conract when Man City came calling he would have done and I bet he explored every avenue too.
Conte has spent nearly 200m in the last 12 months how much backing does he require ffs!
