Good man. Though if you believe anti-vaxxers, you're already dead or only have weeks to live. What was the time limit, 2 years after the first jab? Yeah that means my parents are now gone and I'll be done for by March
How do we bring ignorant people's confidence down? He is a graph. Look at that peak. So confident. So stupid.

We need to flatten that peak. But how?
One of the funniest things is that Died Suddenly ‘documentary’ the antivaxxers are going on about as a gotcha thing. Someone looked into it and a huge number of the people who had ‘died suddenly’ are actually still alive or died before 2020.
These people are quite stupid. And yet their numbers grow.

I'd normally suggest good old fashioned fact based abuse but even this seems to galvanise now as I am considered brain washed by the illuminati if I do.
Basic people love relying on anecdotal evidence instead of statistics as well. "I know a person who died 2 weeks after having their booster" trumps all data gathered over millions of people, across the world.
Here is a good article on the dangers of anecdotal evidence:
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-anecdotal-evidence-can-undermine-scientific-results/
It is quite funny as it is from 2008 and uses an example about vaccines causing autism.
Don't really go for any conspiracy theories. Far too busy looking forward to a couple of years time, when we finally put man on the moon.
Conspiracy theorists are morons. Grate to laugh at though
I saw one recently which suggested that Prince Harry started the war in Ukraine. The other one I liked was the antivax dobby who sneaked on to the BBC going on about young athletes dropping dead in droves. When you actually looked at his data it was total garbage. Among much else it counted Pele as young athlete vaccine death.
Remember that crazy conspiracy that people were laughed at for saying covid vaccines and passports would become mandatory to be part of a society. That was a real doozy

It was a crazy conspiracy as I genuinely can’t remember when I last had to show I was vaccinated to do anything.

They didn't have to have passports/vaccines to be part of society though. They just needed them to do certain things. Same as I'd need a passport to go to Spain.

Or how about the one that the vaccine caused miscarriages? Friend of mine believed that so refused the vaccine. She then got covid more or lesson her due date, and spent 11 days in hospital fighting for breath and desperately concerned for her baby. She was ok as was the baby, but the antivax lies are dangerous.
I actually found some of the pro-vax lies to be quite dangerous at the time as well. "get the vaccine so that you cannot get covid or give it to others". That was a horrendous lie that was very dangerous thing to tell people.
My 42 year old son is one who believes all this rubbish that’s been spouted on the internet.
We’ve had some lively discussions and he’s yet to provide me with any real evidence that anything he believes is actually true.
Had all the jabs I’m entitled to. Felt crap after three of them. 67 and neither myself or my wife have caught Covid yet.
I’ll decide on the next one when it’s due. I’m open to discussion still.

That's half the problem, people don't want to have open discussions anymore...it's just 'follow this line or you a moron, idiot, loony etc and then the discussion is done.

I don’t think it was a very widely circulated ‘lie’ though. And more based on the very logical concept that if you get the vaccine you’re less likely to be seriously ill therefore you’re less likely to have something to spread.
I've a mate who went down the rabbit hole a few years back and is now completely gone so much so that he's stopped taking his epilepsy medication and is buying alternative medicine from these conspiracy theorists. They are literally telling people real medicine doesn't work and is designed so Bill Gates earns more money through pharmaceutical companies and reduces the population so that they can then make money off people by selling their own bogus 'medicine'. Yet I'm a sheep.
He once showed me the light sending me a link to join a telegram group. The stuff they were coming out with was hilarious.
When he was going on about the 5g stuff I asked him why he has a phone and a TV where the elite are indoctrinating him. He now doesn't own a phone or a TV
Needless to say we have grown apart and basically say a few sentences to each other when we meet and go on our way.

Not everything needs an open discussion though. Especially when real evidence exists that shoots down the vast majority of antivaxx claims yet they choose to believe nutritionists and grifters over peer reviewed papers.
Would be interesting to see the demographics of anti-vaxxers in the UK.
