An important thing is also when people use actual facts to back up their nonsense. Yes, ice coverage is growing. In the Antarctic. Winds have become stronger, causing sea ice to be blown further from land and cover a larger area but form thinner.

It's a very common tactic in conspiracy theories. Although I do enjoy the incongruence of believing NASA to be terrible NWO communist climate change shills... right up until they produce data that shows Antarctica is growing which is then provided as proof that it's all a hoax and they're admitting it.

Yeah, but you have to understand that these people believe these things and think the way they do because they're stoopid already to begin with. Stoopid people will naturally seek less complex and easier to grasp explanations for things that are unknown or poorly understood.

Sometimes it's the result of putting an extremely stoopid person through a very efficient system of education. They become educated, able to investigate, follow evidence etc, but education can never remove inherent and genetic stupidity, only dumb it down at best.

Like when they teach algebra and say "a farmer has x goats and y sheep". Well that's a nonsense waste of time because no farmer could have x goats and y sheep. Surely, any farmer worth his salt will already know how many goats or sheep they have, so what's this x and y malarkey?

When I visited him in September the goats got v excited n almost bust outta there compund

There are some baby goats up in the Pentland Hills near me and I go up on my mountain bike and they come over and we headbutt eachother with me wearing my helmet. They like it a lot and so do I. It is great practice for them and me for being a goat.
