Don't get me started on this subject.

It's not just Jones though, Michael Carrick went through a similar transition from nobody to England regular.

.....................

Carrick has never been an england regular.

Phil Neville and Wes Brown former United superstars and England stalwarts are now considered not good enough after giving up their red jerseys.

.....................

Neither of these were England regulars either.

You are not very good at this are you?

A bit like Chris Sutton before he left Norwich for Blackburn.

If they started an international tramps 11 that UTD tramp bebe would be a shoe in for the number 9 shirt

Blackburn Rovers should be ashamed that their academy held Phil Jones back for so long

===

Dont let the press make you bitter. Anyone with a knowledge of football (not the press) could tell he was a star before his move to United. Glowing praise was also lavished on him by John Terry last season after a game against Chelsea when he had Drogba in his pocket.

==

Just the same happened in the press with Rooney pre/post United move. Wher do you think the White Pele chant came from - not OT for sure

Quite how they keep producing these International talents is a mystery.

....................

Only to dumbasses like you.

Look up the phrase "Develope their potential".

Something that can not be acheived at little clubs like Blackburn who are badly run and coached.

Stupid statement and to top it off, spelt incorrectly.

----------------
when did carrick become an england regular?
wes brown retired from international duty when at united.
phil neville stopped being picked for england when at united.

Wow!

My advice to you is to get over it and move on with your life.
Its not Phil's fault he now plays with a higher calibre of player, thus improving his game!

Maybe we should blame Blackburn for holding him back...

Ha! He looks half the player now. You're tactics will ruin him. Before long you'll turn him in to an average Defensive midfielder.

"John Terry last season after a game against Chelsea when he had Drogba in his pocket"

That was actually the season before, his debut for Rovers, well spotted though.

Vidic you angry little man, the three mentioned were squad regulars. Also, you talk of us not developing his potential, this is the point of the article you fool. Rovers produced a fantastic player that barely gets recognition until he wears red.

Also, as highlighted, your massive clubs production of talent is shameful!

You've got a lovely shop though!

........................

What is stupid about it. It is what SAF has been doing for years, buying young players and developing their potential.

Please put your brain in gear next time you post.

I looked up "Develope their potential" it said "do you mean develop their potential"...

The fact that he hasn't developed at all. Plus the incorrect spelling.

Yes I did mean that.

Fairly obvious really, what else do you think it might have meant?

Why would he do that? He spends too much time picking up on spelling mistakes.

You asked me to look it up kind sir, I'm just reporting google's feedback...

posted on 6/10/11

quite ironic really, concentrates more on spelling mistakes on a football forum than actual facts about football
