But...
If you study Israel's behaviour over the last 70 or so years, they have no intention of doing that and the more likely scenario IMO is that they want to ethnically cleanse the area and establish a Jewish ethno state.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’ve not said otherwise…..
But it’s a massive error to believe that Hamas have the welfare of the Palestinians as their sole aim.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Excellent.
Of course Hamas have other aims I don't agree with, like the destruction of Israel. For me it's all about human rights, equal rights and justice for all men on earth, including Israel. There is no excuse and neither should we condone any excuses to take rights and justice away from people.

Sensible post we can all agree with.
There’s a reason not a single country will accept Palestinian refugees. It’s too hard to split the genuine citizens from Hamas members, they’re trouble.
And no, I don’t support Israel, i don’t condone their actions against the innocent Palestinians, but Hamas are happy to use those people in their game of chess.

I agree, and this is why we all need to separate the recent events from the historical issues. I firmly believe there’s a much bigger play here than merely trying to force Israel to cede the land.
"Jordan's King Abdullah II gave a similar message a day earlier, saying, “No refugees in Jordan, no refugees in Egypt.”
Their refusal is rooted in fear that Israel wants to force a permanent expulsion of Palestinians into their countries and nullify Palestinian demands for statehood."
How is this not obvious to you? Do you have anything to back up your statement that it's because Hamas are trouble? Any comments from prominent people? Any studies that support that position?

Israel should allow them to do that. Making them refugees is not the answer.
For decades Israel has made life difficult for Palestinians, controlling water, energy, transport, movement, overseeing apartheid, detention without trial which is called kidnapping when Hamas do it. They never let Palestinian settlements live in peace. All in am effort to get Palestinians to leave so they can establish a Jewish ethno state.
You think it would be a good idea to help them do that?

A basic understanding of geo politics, along with history.
I am NOT a hamas supporter but you do know many countries don't see them as a terror organisation including Switzerland, Turkey and China. Nearly 2b people represented there. There's obviously many more but im just making a point.
I've looked into why Hamas did what they did and I have concluded they went there to destroy military personnel and targets. A few went rogue and the Western media have jumped all over this and I'll be the 1st to say killing innocent civilians is wrong whatever the reason.
When Iraq and Afghanistan were invaded theres so much evidence of rapes and illegal killings and the arguments put forward are that they are few and far between. Yet you dont hear them being called terrorists.
The music festival where 250 innocents were slaughtered was moved there in the last minute from another area. It took nearly 6 hours for IDF to respond. Im confident if there was a terrorist attack in the uk we would have armed response in 30mins. Something doesn't add up.
Also the heavy handed IDF killed alot of their own civilians as they did not want Hamas to take any more hostages. All the evidence is there if you want to find it.
IDF recently said 1200 people died not 1400 as first claimed. They said the other 200 were Hamas terrorists. Ok so who killed them? Im going to guess it was IDF yet its only now they are realising it was Hamas so who else were they murdering or was it just kill everyone on site then blame hamas.
Roughly half of the deaths were of people of some rank so legitimate targets under international law for an occupied state.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Drawing the US into the conflict in order to stretch them, due to their existing commitments in the Ukraine. This would suit Iran, along with Russia. Not to mention it allowing China a free run at Taiwan.
All supposition of course, but also very possible. Governments are quite happy to use terrorist organisations to do their dirty work and use them to trigger other events.
And yes, before you say it, that includes Western governments.
The best line is im 100% neutral but if Hamas didn't start this on October 7th then there's no one else to blame.
Fkin idiots the lot of them. WS at its finest

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree, and this is why we all need to separate the recent events from the historical issues. I firmly believe there’s a much bigger play here than merely trying to force Israel to cede the land.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What makes you believe that if I can ask?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A basic understanding of geo politics, along with history.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
OK, let me reframe. What other plays could there be apart from a Palestinian state? And whi are we talking about? Hamas?

Sorry forgot to say hamas wanted to kidnap Israelis for a prisoner swap which was also part of their agenda. You know the thousands of innocent palestians locked up without trial many of them children.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Those children are just locked up indefinitely without trial. Not kidnapped. Only Hamas kidnaps people, never Israel.

No wonder the OP didn't want to name him.
These unbiased and neutral guys keep listening to and rationalizing for one side only. It's like only half their brain is working, the Israel half.
"But but but... I swear I'm neutral, why you calling me biased"
