Spurs only spent a quarter of a billion this season tbf
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did we?
That’s news to me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m not sure why, it’s freely available information. Maybe that’s your issue? Google it and you’ll probably be happier
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or, you just totally made it up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s not totally made up. I used transfermarket but there are numerous sources. Just google ‘biggest spenders in 2023/24 and you’ll see another dozen links.
In truth suzz, and no offence, I don’t think you really know what you’re talking about by the looks of things.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's ok, the other day he promised to take a coaching course and a course in journalism to he can communicate better with us. I trust his process.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not being funny, but you’re happy for us to play pretty football, just not in Europe, so it’s not as if your opinions should ever be taken seriously.

You don't know what makes me happy. You do you and I will do me. Remember...
Fucccccck me! What the hell has happened to this place? It used to be somewhere we could discuss all things Spurs and respect everyone's right to have a different opinion to others. Now if there's even the mildest disagreement, things get truly personal. It seems to me that a collection of bullies have all gathered 'strength' together in order to throw insults at anyone that doesn't share their opinions. It's really quite vulgar.

So? Does that really mean it's worth derailing a thread? To be fair, my exchanges with him have always been fine. I think what's happening is that because he might oppose certain opinions, many posters are confusing that with a deliberate attempt to annoy when in actual fact it's just his opinion. Once the mudslinging starts, he's perfectly within his rights to throw shiiiit back. There were a few usual suspects on here that were going off at me, Sizz, Mack and a few others the other week for simply saying we weren't playing well against Brighton. Apparently we weren't allowed to be negative in any way shape or form because the likes of Luka, Hengy and a few others said so. It's madness. They're just opinions. If you don't like them. Ignore them. One thing is for sure, we're not the ones that start the mudslinging but if someone fires my way, they're gonna get it back. I just don't understand why there's a need to derail every thread with the same insults. They might think Sizz is in the wrong but they should really look at their comment history because most of the insulting stuff is coming from them, not the other way around.

Yeah, look, that’s all very well and good but his attitude has always been rammal and then he started calling me names and a liar. That’s what you get in return.
In terms of being negative… it actually has to have some credibility.
For example, crying that the club lacks ambition when Spurs were the third highest spenders in World football just looks incredibly stupid, and as such will be mocked. Rightly so too.
Oh Fridge. You poor thing. No one is stopping you from saying anything. But if you say something, expect a reaction or a reply. This is a place for conversation after all.

I think there's more to it than that because yes, on the face of it over the last couple of windows we've spent but that's largely down the fact that other clubs just weren't in a position to. Historically whenever we've been close we haven't gone out and picked up that diamond player for big money that gets you over the line - think Allison or VVD for you guys. We've always tried to buy cheaper or, worse still, missed out on targets because we've been haggling on prices and allowed competition to steal a march. He's not wrong about Levy when you stand further back and assess his record.
Even then, it's a difference of opinion, nothing more. If I see Richy mis-control a ball put an absolute sitter wide, I'm gonna call him out for it as do many others but it doesn't appear to be tolerated for some reason. I'm not sure why. It's the bloody truth.
