A bit annoying that no other results went for us in the end.

I think Forest find out next week what their points penalty will be (unless it's delayed)
Although not his biggest fan as a commentator, Malcolm Christie's record in the commentary box is fantastic.
At last the real Joe Ward stood up! He was superb with Cash and then Sibs close behind. That said, this was a real team performance with controlled and patient build-up football and clinical finishing. On first view Sibs' first goal looked a bit fortunate but a replay from a different angle shows the ball was going in anyway before a defender got the deflection. Gayle's goal was a lovely affair and for a small lad he is excellent in the air. Ward was brilliantly involved for Sibs' second.
It was good to see CBT given some time and I'm sure he will add a lot to this squad. Wildsmith literally had nowt to do, Bradley and Nelson were solid, Adams was his usual combative self and Bird eventually started to spray the ball around. NML was a constant threat and while Barks was a bit quiet he still played an important part. Waggy looks yards off it but that is understandable and I suspect he will only be used sparingly. The only slight disappointment was that there surely were more goals for the taking but there was no need for anyone to bust a proverbial late on.
So all in all a much better day and how good not to have to have a swipe at the ref who was excellent!

They will appeal and that will take them past the end of the season
Did anyone else think the offside v CBT was outrageous?
Maybe not outrageous but highly dubious.

Crazy. He's quick, int he ?
That was more like it ... 300 miles wasted on Tuesday, 300 miles well worth it today.
Spoilt only by the possibility that I got might overtake me in the prediction League đ
Not trying to detract from what was a very comfortable win today, but where would the regular matchgoers rate P Vale amongst other visitors to PP this season ?
Dont feel I can properly assess the quality of that performance without knowing where the opponents might stand in the list. đ¤
It's a fair point Ang but in reality any team can and will beat any team, seemingly at random in L1. It's a dog fight with little or no order...........
As you know Ang, I watch it live on Rams TV so I feel I can safely say that PV were downright average and never really looked like scoring. But as they say, you can only beat what's put in front of you. Still, the best reaction is to take the three points but not get carried away. We have faced and will face tougher opposition.
I think PV were missing a couple of players in defence so it's certainly against a depleted team.
Also if they're playing an open game that certainly plays to our advantage.
So we got a better ( if brief) performance out of CBT?
I thought he was ok, certainly a willing runner. Waggy was full of bluster, hastling the defence. DG made some decent runs that werent really spotted. However he did provide a moment of class with that header.
Waggy also made a superb goalsaving block from a Max Bird shot
