But for a brief few minutes at the start of the second period of E/T, the whole Jamaican side played hoof football, which was probably their tactics after scoring in the first minutes. Overall Dexter had a good game and kept their wingers quiet. He has very good pace and a stunning shot when he gets a chance. Unfortunately we saw neither last night.

He'll be 21 this November, so at that age, I'd prefer we kept him next season, rather than send him on loan again.

Very unfair to state that he was "at fault for at least two of the USA's goals" Their equalizer, with virtually the last play of the match in regular time, was a headed own goal by Burke. (Being a CF, he'd have been proud of that, had it been at the other end). But having actually watched the whole match and not glimpses of highlights, 95% of crosses came in from the opposite side of Dexters. He was very effective in stopping people getting past him on his side. He was however booked for a foul. My man of the match was the referee, who had a great game.

Don't really know why you bite Wolfie ! I can imagine that the training in the Met didnt quite extend to detecting an online wum but years of exposure should do

Someone put up a international break thread please, its too early for the Villa one and too depressing to post on the Coventry one.

Hopefully Dexter gets a good loan next season.

Portugal beat Sweden last night then will play away at Slovenia on Tuesday.

Today Toti Gomes, Semedo, Bernardo Silva, Leah, Fernandes, Ramos and Palhina will leave the squad to enable them to prepare for their league matches next weekend.

Flying in to replace them for the Slovenia game will be Ruben Neves, Ronaldo, Joao Felix, Cancelo, Dalot, Pereira.

That’s squad rotation for ya

Following in the footsteps of Everton and Forest, Leicester have now been charged with breaking the sustainability rules for the 3 years ending last summer. This would likely mean that if they are promoted this season, they could start next season on minus points

And to think that some on ‘ere were questioning the amount of players that were leaving the club?

I said at the time it was the right thing to do, and have been proved right once again. 👍

Wolves are making plans for their summer training camp. They may go to Asia but also have an offer to take part in a tournament in USA alongside West Ham, Newcastle and Everton with games being played in Connecticut, Tampa and Jacksonville

Wolves women beat Albion women 2-0 at Molineux this evening.

Ait Nouri starting for Algeria who are at home to Bolivia. And Sarabia started for Spain at home to Columbia

Mosquera on the bench for Columbia. Wonder if we'll get to see him play for us next season. From the little I've seen of him he would appear to have the attributes to be a decent player. You wonder though whether he'll be another of those "wolves players" that bounce around various loans, get sold on for a small profit and were really only ever here for player trading. Hope not in this case.

I think Mosquera is one that will get a chance with us. With him, Toti, Dawson, Kilman and Santi Bueno I think we’re sorted as far as a defensive squad is concerned

Goldie, there seem to be a few on here that would prefer to see players go out on loan all the time, instead of progressing through our ranks and finding a spot in our first team squad.

As for Mosquera, I've seen him a few times at Cincinnati and he's looked a decent player.

We never seem to fill our quota of 25 senior players allowed, so next season, let's do it.

I don't understand how they broke the rules over the same three year period as forest but don't get penalised this season.

Some have said because they aren't in the prem but Forest have been penalised while teo of those years were in the championship.

I don't get it.

The premier league don’t have the power to deduct championship points from a club

A year ago if we’d had the money the player I wanted us to sign was Gyokeres from Coventry. He went instead to Sporting Lisbon and he’s been brilliant scoring the best part of 30 goals and taking them to the top of the Portuguese league.

I think there’s a similar player worth going for this summer in Norwich’s 24 year old american striker Josh Sargent. A friend of mine is a Norwich season ticket holder and reckons he’s by far their most important player. He has missed half of Norwich’s games this season following ankle surgery and they lost 10 of those games. In the half of games he has played they’ve lost only 3 and he’s scored 13 in those 18 games. He’ll surely be a Premier League player next season and I hope we take an interest.

Wolves home fixture against Arsenal on April 20th has been moved to an evening kick off of 19:30 and will be shown live on Sky.

And the home fixture against Bournemouth that was postponed because of last weekend’s cup match, has been rearranged for Wednesday April 24th at 19:45

Is it not bad enough having American supporters without having America players? Especially injury prone ones with dodgy ankles

Joao Gomes is starting for Brazil, lad's come a long way in a short time.

Was a coup when we got him

Fantastic for him and the club

Start of a long international career for Joao I guess. Do hope Wolves can hold on to him this summer

He's pretty lucky not to have been booked so far

He did commit a few fouls but good that he was left on for the full game

Son said he hopes he leaves one on Douglas Luiz in training.
