How much credit should the 5th most effective striker in terms of goals and assists, with a final record he has, have then? I don’t get ur point tbh, seems like u just chose not to rate him and when provided with data you won’t change your mind.

How accurate are those stats? I've looked at a similar list and I was amazed to see that Suarez wasn't anywhere near the top which had me a bit suspicious. I see that Aguero is above him also so shouldn't he be 6th?

I still think for a player of that capability he should have scored more goals considering the teams he was playing in.

Drogba was quality on his day, but if you're putting him with Henry, Aguero, Kane, Salah, Rooney etc then he's definitely overrated.

Many of Liverpool players are overrated by their own fans currently.

Not that they aren’t very good but some will try to tell you that they have 5-6 players in the World XI.

One red flag about Drogba is that he never won the AFCON, but as soon as he retired, Ivory Coast won the AFCON title.

Yeah that ronaldo is crap too. Portugal only won once he went off injured

Drogba is one that came to mind. Always pops up in conversations about the best strikers in the league but his goal record only has 2 good seasons in it from 9. Yes he scored in some big games but he also messed up in the first CL final when he got sent off. Chelsea may have won it if he hadn't.

You only have to look at his Wiki page. Someone on there has overrated him a lot. They've added a 'Records' section, something many other great strikers don't even have and it's mainly full of pointless records.

People really don’t know what they’re talking about when it comes to drogba. Including his stint when he came back as an old man, he has a goal every 168 minutes for chelsea in the pl. That’s as a sole striker who prominently played with his back to goal for a large part.

That’s also not including his 64 assists.

His goal involvements per game in the premier league is every 98 minutes. With added time of games that’s basically a goal involvement a game.

Vardy is underrated if anything. Had 3 seasons of over 20 goals, has a great record against big teams, has the record for most consecutive goals scored, was integral to the title winning season, and all of this for little Leicester.

I don't think you can do all that by just being a one trick pony. Besides he's 37 now and yet still scoring at a good rate in the Championship.
