Well, all in all about as good as we could have reasonably expected tonight.

Win one game will be enough. If we can’t get 3 points out of Cambridge and Carlisle we don’t deserve to go up. I suspect the last day might be a repeat of 1975 where we have nothing to play for against Carlisle.

We will win 3-0 on Saturday and then it's party time.

Yep ... poor prep by me. Thought I'd signed up at start of season but missed them off the list. I've got membership at 30+ clubs, just not them ...

I thought I was being clever when I opened an account a month ago but I was too late. I have tickets for myself and my elder lad in the away end but the younger boy misses out. He went to fewer away games last season so by the time he was eligible for a ticket it had sold out.

I'm optimistic Shrewsbury will manage to get a draw tomorrow. The level of pressure on Bolton tomorrow could be telling.

As it's your 'home town club,' I was hoping for a much more positive post from you. Spart's pessimism rubbing off?

Nope, only preloading on train, will be a Greggs bacon cob (or two), and a brew at Crewe.

Barring a big turnaround in goal difference we can now afford a defeat at Cambridge so I hope it allows us to play with a bit of freedom. Against Cobblers and Wycombe we ended up so desperate to score that our decisions became poor.

If it gets done and dusted, then one way or another Warne should get Fozzy on the pitch for the Carlisle game. I don’t care if he is on crutches or in a wheelchair, get him on at some point. He deserves it.
