Gollum is it.

Steven McLean on VAR. Not ‘Stephen’. Steven. Hiding in plain sight.

Rangers last chance - won't be easy.

It will be a hard fought game, if you offered me the win but Rangers the cup I’d take it

Rangers blew it with the Dundee and Ross County results.

Celtic would have to have an absolute mare for us to nick the title from them now.

We are completely gubbed in the forward areas. Our recruitment has been poor enough in the past couple of seasons without having to cope with Danilio, Sima, Cortez and Matondo all missing.

Dessers was horrific at the weekend. Silva is an absolute fudball and Sterling as a right winger simply doesnt work.

We are not in a great place at all. At 3-1 with about 20 minutes to go against a tiring ten man Killie we should have been able to bring on fresh legs up top to really turn the screw.

Last 15 minutes were totally flat then we got a scrappy goal in injury time to put a shine on it.

Anything can happen in a one off game but being totally honest Rangers are not in a great place right now.

Even if we did somehow get a win I would fully expect us to fook it up in the remaining two games.

no they wouldnt, we beat them and they drop points to Killie away isnt that far fetched IMO. unlikely yes, but hardly a stretch.

Aberdeen set the blue print for how to score against us. Us having a poor game is not far fetched - we have done it many times this season

your favourites and rightly so, us winning on Sat is unlikely.

But if we win the pressure on Celtic away to Killie will be sky high and thats not the place you wanna go to needing a result

I genuinely dread that prospect. I think if we just need to beat St Mirren last game then we will do but needing full points at Kilmarnock is a challenge

6-7 Months in (as Big Phil keeps reminding us) can Clementball now be officially defined as “Not a great performance, but 3 points”? That appears to be the general consensus after a match.

Saturday will be like 2 drunk burdz fighting over a poke of chips. Anything could happen.

Since they papped us out the cup and beat us after we took the lead. Both on their own pitch which is where we will play again a week tonight is when.

That saying; I expect us to win at the weekend. It’ll be fraught and a close shoreline but as ever when we eventually look back we will realise how far ahead we are.

Of course anything can happen on the day but this would go down as a significant upset were Rangers to somehow leave with the 3 points.

If they do, I won’t lose sleep over it.

Honestly has the last 12 years not been an absolute pleasure to be a Celtic fan? Be honest did you as either a Celtic fan or a Rangers fan ever expect to be this close to Rangers trophy count? We will win on Saturday and that will be that

We don’t equal their trophy haul even if we win league and cup do we?

posted on 7/5/24

Me neither Ginger, and if we do make an erse of the league which we won’t I won’t complain we have won fooking loads in the last decade or so, ffs imagine being a hearts or Aberdeen fan etc.. starting every season knowing you will in all likelihood win fooking nothing

posted on 7/5/24

its not unthinkable that celtic could drop points at rugby park, so a draw or a win for rangers blows the title race wide open.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't think I have ever thought about the trophy count until this season. It was never anything I felt was important - maybe I will think more of it if we do surpass them in the next season or 2

I left school in 1998 and we won the league when I was on study leave so never got to boast about it is school. Rangers then wn the next 3 leagues. At that point I would never have believed we would go on to absolutely dominate the next 20 odd years. I enjoy every minute because I know that failure could be just around the corner - a few bad signings, a bad manager choice, injury crisis etc and suddenly we are on the receiving end again

However, that is football. I won't suddenly stop enjoying going to watch Celtic as a result of any of that

At Man Utd I cannot wait until Ten Hag is gone. An absolute fraud of a manager. OGS was vastly underrated in his progress and his vision and structure was on track. Refusal by the board to sign Haaland and feeling pressure to sign CR7 ruined his plans and ultimately his job.

Not sure but it’s getting fooking close and that must be horrible for the bears they would have to spend their transfer budget redecorating the tunnel at Ibrox 🤣🤣

Nah. Rangers have to win. A draw isn’t much good to form with the goal difference I’d suggest.

And despite all the nonsense theories, Hearts won’t lie down to them either.

Hey. If they win it, they deserve it. The league table never lies.
