What I don't get is how so many people on this board were going "that game was all Eth".
So our diabolical season was all eth as well then?
Us getting dumped out the CL in embarrassing fashion was all Eth?
What part of our season was not "all Eth" and which part was "all Eth".
I'm guessing the posters on this board, any time we play remotely decent it's "all Eth" and any time we get destroyed it's not eths fault.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
For example getting dumped out of the CL was due to Onana before he settled. But we needed a new keeper and who was also good with his feet.
Two teenagers scored our goals today, first time it's ever happened. Introduced by ETH.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And our season includes the FA Cup.

Why would you keep a manager on the last year of his contract and have the media speculating about his future for the entire season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To watch him improve the team
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And overseen by people who are best in class rather than clowns.

We almost threw the fa cup away because of Onana again.
So you're saying because Eth let a couple youngsters play then "it's all Eth" and on the same mindset because he lets Onana play, it's eth's fault when he doesn't save something that he should?
Also on that note Onana still isn't settled because he still lets in howlers every other week.

Maybe they won’t turn out to be best in class? Just saying, that’s easy to say now, but who knows what will happen? Granted, you’d expect them to beat what we had before with bells on, but it’s still not a given

Ali, maybe you miss everything good Onana does. He pulled off a few world class saves in the game. The goal conceded was poor but it happens. A number of people have pointed out your obsession with Onana borders on the stupid because you are simply stupid.

Win or lose it's all on ETH, as was last season. You've been dealt a bad hand buddy, so you won't understand. You'll carry on moaning even if we were doing well, it's part of your makeup.

They can't be worse than the clowns preceding them, Baz, that's for sure.

We just hope we get our sheite together. However, if all the rumours about ETH going are true then it has all the hallmarks of the Glazers. If that is the case then Jim will be at a loss until he has overall control, then you may be right!

Credibility of a socialist paper down the bin. Maybe our PR machine is playing games with them for the way they treat ETH pre and post match! They literally take advantage of ETH's limited grasp of the language to spin a story. If it turns out to be BS then good on us for leaking BS deliberately!

Yeah, disappointed with that goal given how well he was repelling the very difficult shots. It was easier to save.

No but Onana is not good enough for this club, although he's not a priority unfortunately as there are other players who need getting rid of before him.
Onana is simply one of eths mistakes, as is Antony, and a few other players.

Wut, when? Let me see replays of these world class saves you apparently saw.

The only save I saw that was "ok" was when he dived down to a low shot and parried it directly back into the penalty box.
He made a few other saves that any keeper would have been expected to save. Nothing extraordinary
He's a shockingly bad keeper or world class as you say. Absolutely deluded.

Ali, clear difference, and you'd notice why I targeted FRANKO if you had any intelligence. Prior to the match he proclaimed there was little reason to watch Utd because he saw nothing but a cricket score. Monleeds of all people said Utd had every chance, he's the biggest anti Utd poster around.

If a non Utd supporter has more faith than a match going fan it baffles me why Franko follows Utd. Find another interest. Same goes for you. You're both idiots cut from the same cloth. As I said you've been dealt a bad hand, you can't help being the way you are!

Your the weirdest internet troll on this site Vegeance, I have a lot of fun and banter with various posters on here for a laugh but your just a wound up Sphincter always looking for some prolonged argument.
I just bought two seasons tickets, I’m a match going fam my dedication to the club is far deeper than yours and many people share my opinion of you which is why you have been previously banned and often filtered for being a tedious annoying tw@t.

And the way Lineker was reacting on a rumour was shameful, highly disrespectful when he was interviewing ETH post match. Shearer was no better. Neither brave enough to go into any form of management after their playing careers but quick to shoot their mouths in the way they did. Like or loathe ETH our media is trash the way it elevates people only to stick the knife in.

Hoilund, although I believe will be decent one day we way overpaid for him and he's nowhere near the level we need right now.

It really does baffle me how drastically different our approach out of possession has been in the last three games to pretty much the whole season and we've seen how much better off we've been as a result of being much more disciplined, hard-working and compact without the ball in those three games, today especially.

If we had adopted the same kind of off-ball principles not only when defending but when pressing throughout the entire season we wouldn't have finished where we did in the league and we probably wouldn't have exited the Champions League at the group stage, so even though today was absolutely brilliant, it feels like we've just wasted an entire season needlessly exposing ourselves to enormous amounts of danger against all levels of opposition by playing in such a wide open and haphazard manner.

I'd be willing to let Ten Hag continue into next season if the kind of organisation we demonstrated today were to continue and we were to build on it by playing 20-30 yards higher up the pitch and improving the way we're able to sustain attacks and break down teams when space is at a minimum.
