Shaw out as well. Rashford off form.

Has he made mistakes? You betcha, which manager doesn't.
None of the three you mentioned are sure to be better.
Next season, with a little luck on the injury front we could finish much higher and with more youth.
Finally people say all teams get injuries, of course they do, but it depends on the numbers and importance.
It's said by ETH out posters to gloss over how bad it's been.

There has to be an acceptance that some folk want him to stay, some to leave, and some swither between the two.
There is no wrong or right view, but whilst I might disagree with someone's view (in this case yours), it doesn't mean I don't understand it. By the same token, I don't think you should just dismiss someone's else's view as glossing over how bad the injuries have been.
There will be varying degrees as to how much you think the manager has responsibility and the players have responsibility, but for me, considering everything, the buck does ultimately stop with the manager, and it's not very scientific, but it doesn't feel right under him and I don't believe it will

I think if we cast our minds back to the palace game, Burnley game, Chelsea game, Fulham game, Forest game, I could go on, most people were adamant Erik was toast this summer, it wasn’t just the defeats, but the manner of them, a decent last couple of results and a cup final win and a few people have had a change of heart it seems

Call me cynical, but i think the players were just generally happy and celebrating. Don't get me wrong, i don't think any of them hate him or anything like that, but do they really warm to him or truly believe in him. General performances suggest not.

Cup finals are perfect opportunities for players who don’t usually make the effort required to turn up and get their medals. If they were that committed against Bournemouth at home and West Ham away maybe Ten Hag wouldn’t be sweating on his job

And the clear show of support at old Trafford?
Personally I'm weary of the sacking culture at this club and would have no problem giving ETH the benefit of the doubt and letting him have another bash at it next season.
We've suffered as a fan base through this horrible season and somehow ended up with an FA cup and europa league football.
It has to have been a huge learning experience for Ten Hag. Let's see if we see the benefits of it next season

Does it need to be? The managers job is to get any combination of players in the squad who are out on the pitch to approach the game with the right attitude and drive and tactical instruction. If he has to rely on a very specific set of 11 players in his squad to succeed then he’s not the guy for us as in 2024 injuries to key players are happening more than ever and it’s very much a squad game.

As you are comparing , then yes it needs to be the same.
Do you honestly belief having Lindelof and Evans doesn't weaken the team. Plus the loss of Shaw and AWB.
The loss of form by Casimiro.
Think how much better our forward line would have looked with Greenwood and Sancho.
Martial to rotate with Rasmus.
He's had a bloody difficult time and come out with yesterday.

I’ve always sat on the fence on this one… but what made me more ETH in was not so much the performance or the win but the way the players celebrated with and showed a camaraderie with ETH in the final game at OT and at Wembley. I think a lot of these players believe in him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Call me cynical, but i think the players were just generally happy and celebrating. Don't get me wrong, i don't think any of them hate him or anything like that, but do they really warm to him or truly believe in him. General performances suggest not.
To me, it was just a natural reaction to winning

Was the team that played those two teams the same as yesterday's?

I don't disagree with your post but... Sancho? He's absolute crap based on his united career
You do come out with some waffle sometimes
Martial too.... Come on now.
The rest I agree with.

Because he showed at Chelsea he could deal with an injury crisis and start to make the side look competent and with an exciting style of football. I don’t think any of us can see signs of that happening with another year of HagBall
