Aye, fancy Eng strongly tomorrow, even though they’ve been guff so far. Just hoping Spain can make it thro tonight, as a France/Eng final could potentially be an utter snoozefest.

Not sure why Spain have gone much more defensive this half … they’re not very good at it! Did the same against Germany and it almost cost them. Playing with fire.

Spain win. Well deserved. Decent effort by France..

Spain deserve to be in the final. They are a joy to watch

Happy to see that boring coont Deschamps oot, altho Spain rode their luck a bit 2nd half. Easily the best team in the tournament when they have the ball, but I actually think Eng could get a fair bit of joy against their defence, especially aerially.

Commentators mentioned it was Germans booing hung up about some hand ball controversy when the Spanish knocked them out. More to the point WTF they doing at a France v Spain game facking pool towel cants denying other nationals' enjoyment?

I don't mind if England win tonight.

Spain will see them off easily so the final only brings more tears.

Not too fussed if they win the thing in all honesty. If they do, they deserve it. And with a country their size, the money thrown into football and the EPL paying out such ridiculous fees and wages on these “elite” world class players, there should be a rigorous inquest into them if they don’t.

I don't give either of the sides in tonight's semi a prayer against the Spanish on Sunday.

Erm. Because they did what they needed to do to lift the trophy. Draws can’t be planned to ensure that the “best” side must face the toughest opposition all the way through to prove they’ve won it deservedly.

The flaw is that most of the elite world class talent in England is foreign. Spawny cants might borefest theri way to it right enough.

OK, so they’d have won it luckily, rather than deservedly. Yes, they can only beat the pash in front of then, but they’ve played rubbish football and by and large spawned their way past said pash. Admittedly no-one will give a monkeys how they won it if they do.
