Not sure we will see that ref again! Absolutely disgraceful performance! Fair play to England for making another final when they should have been out a few rounds ago. Maybe their name is on the trophy !

England have had a great deal of luck so far. In the final that luck will not be with them.

Next few days are going to be unbearable.

Don’t think I’ve read so much nonsense in my life. Southgate and his England sides have made their way to the latter stages of 4 international tournaments.

Sure they haven’t been pretty but his subs have been bang on almost every time with tonight’s being possibly the best yet.

But aye, luck. ffs there’s nothing like out and out jealousy or trying to create some kind of rivalry between us that in truth is generally laughed at.

Think Spain are an entirely different proposition to anything England have faced so far in this tournament.

They are rightly favourites and I’d expect them to win. But this is a one off game where winner takes all. In the event that England do win it, maybe the nonsensical “jamming bastirts” chat will all but cease (apart from the obvious dafties of course

Then they’ll have beaten the “best” and thereby deserve it. No skin off my nose either way. I don’t support or detest either of them.

It would depend how they won the final, I suppose. If it’s with another ludicrous pen like last night …

Think they’ve a decent chance TBH. Whilst I think Spain are a far better footballing side, they can most definitely be got at defensively. Even though France pretty much stunk the place out all tournament, I think they might actually have been a harder nut for Eng to crack in the final. Personally hoping for a Sunday double of Alcaraz and his countrymen though.
