----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely
Finally I can start to enjoy the Euros
Glad that’s over. Best team won. England’s tactics are boring as fvck.
I could deal with england winning, in the hope that it would mean they could shut the fvck up about it, same way u would give a child a balloon just to shut them up.
But the pundits and commentators, its brutal, deluded nonsense ever match
Until the next tournament, ‘It’s Coming Home’ will be mothballed. Thank fek lol 😂
The English pundits just can’t see that most teams on the continent are streets ahead of their home grown ‘superstars’ when it comes to technical ability.
The delusion continues.
That said, Southgate got them playing an awful brand of football that dragged the tournament down.
Had it not been for a jammy group and side of the draw they would never have reached the final.
England players are technically brilliant
Their tactics cost them

the Spainish playwrs wera a million miles ahed technicully
In the aftermath of such tragedy for our humble neighbours is worth considering some facts:
Scotland were the last to beat this Spanish team in a competitive game. Actually made Rodri cry.
No team has played more European Championship games and not won it. Ever! So are England the biggest Euro failures of all time?
England didnt deserve to win the Euros. They werent even close to being the second best team.
England only won two games in the whole tournament in regular time. Spain won 7 out of 7 - I think the first team to do that.
I do think England have excellent quality - particularly in the attacking areas.
However the biggest issue they have is Southgate is a clown. He is the luckiest manager in football to be in that job. They will never win anything with him at the helm.
He's the James Tavernier of managers - great servant, never any bother but ultimately a serial runner up.
"England only won two games in the whole tournament in regular time. Spain won 7 out of 7 - I think the first team to do that."
Incorrect
England have some good players but they are not a team.
its all about the development as well, just watching the little things spain do, they amount of times they passed the ball and missed out their own man, everyone just knows what to do and when to do it.
they get the ball in a promising position and just get it moving again, when england got it all you heard was "chance to lump this into the box"
Celtic will be fine, we have stephen mcmanus working with our youngsters so matter of time before we produce the next iniesta.

Southgate famously is not good at penalties
Feel confident on saying "it will never come home again"
Spain bossed that game. It's all about control and England never had control of the game. When they equalised, there was the time to boss possession, take control and win it. Instead they ceded control, went long and were happy to sit on the edge of their own box. That's not how you win championships.
If Southgate told them to do that unforgivable.
Southgate was appointed because of serial failure. FA swimming in money and wanted to embark on the big project. St George's Park superb facility albeit back of beyond, hire a raft of the very best coaching talent and spread the education, analyse the heck out of what makes a winning tourny side and throw money at preparation & execution.
Trouble is a) they needed to find someone willing to be told this is the way we will do it as opposed to a guy with his own thoughts b) whilst they have decent talent they are made to look better than they might otherwise be by all the gifted foreigners in club teams c) the answer they came up with how to win a tourny is rightly not to lose but in so doing they've bored the @rse off everyone. From the FA's perspective it is a success but they haven't got over the line.
I'm sure Southgate is a nice man but football is an emotional game and you can see the frustration on Bellingham and the other youngsters' faces. The older guys buy in cos they want to play.
Hey ho.

I had actually read that somewhere this morning and took it at face value. My bad
Realise the Germany game was AET ...so they only won 6 out of 7 in normal time versus 2 out of 7 for England.
Still a significantly better record than England.
So is everybody in good spirits after Carlsberg Sunday? Was joking with mates beforehand about the chances of an Alcaraz, Oban Bob & Spain treble. Shame we didn’t put money on it, but hey ho.
I stuck a fiver on 3-0 Alcaraz. Won 30 quid, stuck that on Spain to win in 90 mins. Won 80 quid. Stuck that on Argentina Colombia to be a draw. Won 230 quid. A good day's work but did predict 2-1 Spain and 0-0 in Argentina match so could have been thousands rather than hundreds. Can't complain though.
