I genuinely don't understand the hate Celtic are getting on this signing
Within days of his contract expiring he signs for us. That tells me we have been ready for it
If I said we'd sign an international goalkeeper who played every Euro match for €8M people would he delighted.
Why is age 37 the difference between happy or nor?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t think Keepers drop off as they age like outfield players nearly as much, he’s experienced and a character who will speak up in the dressing room, I’ll judge him on how he performs but I do have a feeling he could be a good signing
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I dunno, I guess I was just expecting us to sign somebody younger than the guy who’s just retired on age grounds. Not denying his calibre, and have already said he’s a big character in any dressing room. Time will tell.

Indeed, my hope is that he’ll do a season and cover the bases needed and we get a younger promising replacement in next season and it might that we looked but couldn’t get anyone we fancied? With our recruitment mate that could have happened
To be fair I’m usually overly optimistic with signings so hopefully he does well

Well no more Paella for you Sir and you can forget about Senior San Miguel too
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sounds like señor San Miguel's American dad
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye, well this was part of an email that I got from one of my banks trying to protect me from fraud and scams...
"Our Seniors Support Centre provides services, advice and tools to help with your everyday banking and personal information protection"
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Banks can GTF. Went to take out £3k today in cash - relatively piffling. Facking 3rd degree - what's it for - fvck off - none of your business - has anyone coerced you - no fvcking gies MY money. Sign this and I'll ask a manager to approve...ffs. Guy only doing what he's telt but ffs a) I told him a complete lie what it was for b) so fvcking what if it is to pay my crack dealer it's none of your fvcking business. Next time gonna take out max from the machine as many days as I need to achieve it. Had to drive 25 mins and pay for parking cos they closed all the fvcking branches anyway. Cvnts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You didn’t arrange it in advance I take it then?
Kind of takes away the pain
That aside, the rules were brought in to prevent serious crime money laundering. Not Mr and Mrs Normal trying to pay a builder, go to the races or give it to his kids in a card
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I asked should I have given them warning and he said no, they'd still have to go through that process. Virgin bank like Piff. Worst is I'm a 'private banking' customer and old days your personal manager did everything for you no questions asked - ffs they'd even arrange for it to be delivered to your door if you asked, just on the back of a phone call. Gradually all the perks have dried up and they closed the 'relationship suite' when they gobbled up Clydesdale.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh don’t we know it when dealing with affairs of departed family. Passed from pillar to post, culminating in accounts for all parties being frozen. Not a branch within 100 miles of my dad.
As for cash from bank, maybe we’ve been lucky. Two days notice and yes all the questions about are we being coerced, are we happy to take that amount of cash out; but we’re given it.
As said earlier, it’s an abuse of a law that was brought in for an entirely different reason although I’d get it if some old spinster out of the blue went in and asked for a serious wedge when it was never in their banking pattern.
Sorry about that, mate - didn't think they could freeze a joint account but yeah I manage some accounts for MrsS so she has plenty to tide her over should I pop my clogs which, let's face it...
As for KAsper, my main worry is that he's 'only' 6'2" and, like his old man, best known for spreading himself to make great blocks whereas our biggest issues are set pieces and midgets.

That had crossed my mind too. All will be well though when we sign our gigantic Greg Taylor replacement and an actual physical DM.

Spain should be further ahead.
Bellingham is a great player, but been very disappointing, and also embarrassing how easy he goes to ground
Kane (P) subbed again. Touched the ball 11 times, according to commentary
