I'm pleased. I can't predict the future, as I've proved on occasions, but I think he's done enough to earn next season.
Many say that one game shouldn't influence you, why not?.
He finished the season with a bang, won the last two league games, and then did what no one predicted, won the final in style.
Two trophies in two years is worth having, and I think the players respect him.

If it was the European Cup we won rather than the FA Cup, nobody would be climbing we shouldn't judge on 1 game. It wasn't 1 game. We beat Liverpool and City amongst others, to lift the trophy.

I support Manchester United not Erik Ten Hag. He's been here 2 years and the clubs been here over 100 and will be here long after Erik leaves. 👍

He needs to have a much better season before I am convinced and admit I was wrong. I hope he does prove me wrong as I want to see my team competing at the top again.

I have to admit I'm kind of relieved.

Once Tuchel was out of the picture and Poch was looking increasingly unlikely, none of the other potential candidates really appealed to me.

And even with those two I'm not convinced we'd have been any better off.

Buy out their contracts. At this point it would be worth the money.

It does look like we might be cashing in on Casemiro, which is a start. Save a few bob on Varane too.

Stop believing media nonsense. Clubs don't brief journalists.

Hes overseen enough nonsense through his own shortcomings, regardless of the underlying lack of structure and uncetainty at the club to desrve the sack, but TBF he's rode his luck by winning 2 trophies in that time.... and we have Europe next season now.

Hes not ideal for me, but with a lack of obvious candidates out there right now and some absolute no-nos touted in the media, INEOS probably feel hes the best option moving forwards. As a regular supporter I wish him very well for next season and hope he gets what is promised by INEOS soon and the plan works. It will be interesting to see if United hand him a contract extension now, or wait till the end of the season.

What's your evidence for this? Ornstein is about as reliable as football journalists get and even he says we've been speaking to managers and he name dropped Tuchel on Sky.

You don't talk to other managers unless there's some doubt and division in the camp surely?

Anyway....it's all put to bed now at least and we go again. Erik needs to sort this team out and get them playing like a team that doesn't look like a hung over Sunday

ESPN FC crew wanted him gone ASAP and put Ten Hag out of his misery crew will be disappointed tonight. It was funny they were thinking he was all but gone and they were dragging it out but they were actually doing the review and kept him! Even if Man Utd explored other options Ten Hag stayed. Next season is huge for Man Utd imo. We need to win the PL and EL and the FA Cup and the community shield. The league cup I don’t mind.
