Jesting aside, I just know that he’ll be back in our squad next season with the “he’s developed so much whilst in the Championship”.

Useless cwnt scored a tap in from an exquisite Forrest pass, missed an absolute sitter and also missed a penalty.

Why do we as a club put up with such utter garbage?

I rage at the sheer inability of this so called footballer and even more at the management for even giving him a sniff at wearing our jersey; but it should be a concern to our support that he’s still allowed in the front door of Celtic Park. Next time I hope he’s getting in having paid for a ticket to sit in any stand bar the one I’m in.

Joking apart, our pre-season games are up a running in earnest now, and we kick off our title defence 2 weeks today … and so far all we’ve addressed is our keeper situation. What about LB, CB, DM, winger and striker? All positions we desperately need to fill with first team ready standard. Yes there’s plenty time left in the window, but surely ideally you want these guys getting bedded in during pre-season, not in the CL games?!! Imagine Pistol is hanging fire on more incomings until he sorts out his biggest priority … maximising the sale of MOR.

On the plus side we are about 6 signings and £15m+ that we don’t have away from even vaguely resembling a team that might, just might, compete for the title.

We are so far short of competing at this level we would have been up against it no matter what.

Severe lack of quality in the squad, no leadership on the park and unsettled players with the majority of them one eye on the exit door.

Not a great combo....
