"You seem content with how the club as a PLC are going about their business, which is fine, but so are the frustrations of others wanting to see attempts at progress. Both opinions are valid, but the club doing a mixture of both would be nice for a change."
I never said I was content. I said I understand how we operate as a successful plc and as a hugely successful football club.
I'm a fan of the club too you know and also have a "wish list" of things I'd like to see happening. But again; I'm a fan, and should be nowhere near running a football club.
What progress do you want that we could reasonably expect, and at what cost to ensure we get that progress?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t know if you just misunderstand what I write? I have said I am not looking for them to splash the cash, I know the model we have and how successful it is. I think our use of it isn't as good as it could be, because we overload with projects and end up with a bloated squad. Celtic can't get better than Scales, Welsh or Taylor for relatively little money? That's the minimum amount of progress I want to see.
Idah is not there yet and Oh is gone. If Idah comes in, fine, he knows how we play, same with Bernardo, then we are where we were, minus Oh, albeit Rodgers, the developer of young players, obviously didn't rate him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We have a better keeper imo of course.
Idah will join.
Oh was clearly never part of the furniture. You have to believe that Rodgers and his staff are more clued into potential signings and that we are undergoing serious discussions for more quality players. They take longer to attract to Scotland and to sign up as we are operating in a completely different market to Rangers. Player like Khun appear to be far more settled.
I believe we are in a stranger position overall, but as I've already said, I'll be out the blocks if things don't start to happen soon.

we were already weak in defence

Yet we still changed manager, won the league and won the cup and are in the CL proper.
Amazing stuff really for such a useless shower of board members.

I believe we are as an overall picture, but understand why others aren't.
Out of curiosity I looked at the squad list this morning and of the 31 players, I consider only 14 good enough for that squad. 17 players I don’t want to rely on. Of course that's only my opinion, but it's a helluva lot of players.
I also want to see Nawrocki in for Scales, but looks like Scales is hard to shift for some obscure reason

Different and more difficult market for us to upgrade.

a lot of anger in the world these days isn't there.
turns out the algerian boxer has lost to a bunch of woman in the past, the italian lassie just didn't like getting punched, chose the wrong profession there.
seems straight forward to me tbh, born with a dong? not fighting women.

left back still an issue, owen beck the latest name to improve us, will he make us better in the champs league? doubt it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Watched him a fair bit last season at Dundee getting 90 every week and he was an absolute standout. I can't remember which opponent it was now but I remember thinking I've never seen a LB so dominant against that player before.
Watched him for Wales too and again performed like a senior pro at that level. I think he would be a roaring success if only Taylor wasn't one of our leadership team, eh?
