Aye, you are right one big group of 36. UEFA site clear as mud as per. Rigged so that even if a diddy team has a few stunning results chances are they'll get kicked in the baws by big teams in the other games. Scheite calling it a league and declaring the winners after a few games.
So, does Rangers dubious record of worst ever group team stand for eternity?
I say eternity but...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yeah it aint the clearest, thankfully Iv did about 30+ runs of it on football manager already !
there is pros and cons to it ... good that the draws do slightly favour smaller teams.
means that pot 1 teams all play 2 other pot teams rather than avoiding one of them. also guarantees that pot 4 teams play two other pot 4 teams. so defo much better chance of getting results for the smaller teams.

On the off-chance that we get reinforcements and a kindly draw and decent performances that we could get 10 games out of it.
8 games it is!
Actually, there's a reasonable chance we get into pot 3 because there are 7 teams above us going through qualifying and we are, remarkably, 2nd top of pot 4 so if 2/7 go out and we move up not that it makes a huge difference but every little helps.

Why do we think this?
It’s quite clear that we are being hard nosed about any interest unless it’s serious money which we’d be rightly slaughtered for turning down.
And I don’t for a second think we’d let either of O’Reilly or Hatate to go without us going into the market for a serious first team player.
If we get Idah we still need a third project striker imo, having let two go off the books. Stay at that and we are slightly better than last season. In so saying I don’t think we’re anywhere near finished in the market.
Since David Murray killed Rangers this is like gardening.
You can predict 12 months+ what's gonna happen.
Getting less & less upset about it.

Agreed.

Full expectation of sizeable squad change every 6/12 months.
