Viljami Sinisalo stats look very decent for last year, I like that we are doing a bit of succession planning for a change.
yeah that's reassuring that we have another backup that isn't bain and some long term planning into the bargain.
i suspect we will sell o'riley for 20 million and bernardo will be his replacement, keeping hatate fit is important.
bernardo

I have zero expectations for next season at this point. In fact I am almost completely disinterested in it bacause of the shambles at Rangers right now.
I think Clement is a decent manager but he cant be expected to perform miracles with two hands tied behind his back.
Rangers basically have 10-12 players in the squad that will either never be good enough or their time is simply up;
Tavs
Goldson
Davies
Matondo
Wright
Cifuentes
Lawrence
Cantwell
Dowell
Hagi
Lammers
Dessers
These guys all need to be shifted which will not be easy. We might raise some cash eventually but the reality is we will be taking a financial hit on an awful lot of them.
Its fairly obvious we are not in a great financial position as it is. Adding the 6 or 7 players we would need at a better level than the ones that have left will with very little money will be some trick if he can pull it off.
For me competing for the title this year isnt even a serious consideration at this point. Celtic can be as bang average as they were last season and will still stroll it to the title again IMO.
The reality is Rangers will only shift some of the players we want out the door leaving unhappy players who will know they werent really wanted and because of time and money we will have to settle for 3rd or 4th choice targets as replacements for the ones we have managed to shift.
Rangers will be paying for the Ross Wilson/Michael Beale era for a long time.
Significant change is required behind the scenes at the club which is not going to happen overnight.
The only thing that could help make us competitive in the short term is to somehow fluke CL qualification and unlock those funds.
i'd imagine the stadium not being ready has significantly hindered any plans the manager had.
Cost implications of renting hampden are one thing, but i suspect hampden will make all the money from the food, drinks, etc that would normally go in rangers pocket.
Then there is the material required thats running late, 6 weeks on a boat from China or airfreighting masses of heavy material. Thats a significant cost.
I am not convinced the stadium issue is having a massive impact on the squad rebuild tbh.
If Rangers managed to get the bulk of the players out the door they would want to they would need to be looking at decent players with good potential, some with experience in the say £2-5m range;
- 2 centre backs
- 2 midfield players
- 1 Right winger
- 1 Centre forward
That would be an outlay of the best part of £20m.
The stadium debacle will likely cost rangers, what, a few million? I am not sure but I think our problems are far bigger than having to play a few games at Hampden.

Yeah I agree with all that, we really need a decent RW, not convinced by Kuhn at all. We still have a lot to do, I am not too worried at the minute as we seem to be going about our business quietly so not taking much notice of any MSM links as they are mostly conjecture.
yeah Kuhn's not really impressed mate.

We can only dream 😍
We absolutely need a much better CB next to CCV. Going into next season with Scales and Welsh would be ridiculous
Sky Sports just announced Bernardo signs for £3.5M plus add ons
Initial value was around £6M so I suspect Benfica have got themselves a decent sell on % and perhaps trophies/ CL add ons
Another GK, CB, LB, #10, RW & CF is what we need.
We will probably get 3-4 players in, tops!

if this is true and we get Idah and Kasper done pretty quick, then we can look forward to the next few weeks knowing we have some key areas filled.

👍 more realistic value imo. Hopefully push on now and see more minutes
time will tell if this is a good deal or not
if its 3.5 an he ends up going for 20 million but we have to give 30% away then its worse than paying 6 up front.
that said i think this is better for us, i don't think he is currently worth 6 million.
I think a straight £6m with no add ons or clauses would have been the better deal.
Benfica would have seen the money we got for Jota so probably hoping we are becoming a feeder club for them to make money from their U21 pool that don't immediatey sell for £100M
Resigned?
Looking at SSN I was under the impression he was deed? 😳
